Just about scraped over the line to win the Bundesliga with Leipzig in the first season, finishing one point ahead of surprise contenders Frankfurt. Dortmund had an horrific campaign and were hovering around the relegation zone up until the last ten games of the season where they managed to string some wins together - they went through four managers this season.

Is it worth doing a long term Athletic save on FMT19? I.e. will there be enough regens coming through?

Well then...

I'd say have a look at Orbelin Pineda, Lucas Torreira and Milan Skriniar. All three have been exceptional for me as Newcastle. So much so that I actually sold Pineda for £54M to Manchester City after buying him for £9.5M.

He's comfortably one of the best defenders in the game. He's an absolute rock in the centre of defence. His marking and tackling attributes are already very strong at 16 and can no doubt be improved upon, along with his heading. Additionally, he has really nice mental and physical stats with his bravery and positioning in particular standing out. He's up there alongside Laporte, Gimenez and De Vrij for my money.

Decided to give Newcastle a go, won the league at a canter as expected, squad is just so much stronger than everybody elses from the off, reckon I could have got mid-table in the EPL already: Mike Ashley was very generous in the January transfer window and gave us £37M to spend, decided to splash the cash on two future stars in Leon Bailey and Emre Mor: Both played have played a bit-part role since joining, looking forward to seeing how they develop. Oh and I have also signed Atsu for the pre-agreed £5M. Got the likes of City and Liverpool sniffing around Mbemba and Lascelles though, causing them to become unsettled and request transfers hoping I can just ignore them as they are both on long term contracts and they'll become somewhat settled again :crossed:
