The Salzburg Project... In Holland. It's time to take my FM ideas to the next level, and, taking inspiration from @_Ben_ and @MattyLewis11's projects, The Norseman and The Ajax Way, I've decided to launch my own little project thread. Welcome to The Salzburg Project. The idea, which came from a friend of mine that also plays FM - Was that: Basically, the main focus is to put a great deal of emphasis on the development of young talents and their sales to Europe's bigger clubs - thereby creating a financial base for the club, hopefully without harming professional progress, all while establishing the club as a local force to be reckoned with. Last year, we had a great deal of fun in Belgium. I took over Beerschot, and he took over SV Zulte Waregem - And we both had a great time taking these clubs to be an absolute force in the Belgian league. This year, we're staying close to Belgium, but Holland it is. Seeing how FC Groningen relegated to the second tier, the team choice wasn't even hard for me. I love fallen giants, and when we have the likes of Arjen Robben, the Koeman brothers and Luis Suárez as club icons and legends, I just can't pick any other team. We might be promotion favorites from the Eerste Divisie, but I'm expecting a harsh season ahead of us due to the changes I'm planning to implement. Let's begin!

I understand the logic behind leaving Sweden at the end of the season. Looks like you achieved all you can without sticking around for 5-6 more years and building a late-UCL worthy squad. Looking forward to see where you'll end up.

Any news? This was a brilliant read. Inspired me to take Groningen and have an Ajax counterfeit in the league (Hopefully will gain promotion in the first season!)

This is probably the one of the few threads I'm regularly reading and coming back to this year, in order to get inspiration and learn more about "Analytical FM", rather than the regular, 1-20 stat FM I usually play. This has also pushed me to using a similar skin, albeit not Statman, and giving it a shot myself. Thank you for the insanely informative posts and the depth you're going into - It makes understanding this style of FM so much easier.

I take it this isn't found in-game? Also, which skin are you using? Looks like a modified Mustermann skin? OT: This thread is lovely and goes to insane amounts of in-depth FM analysis. Just the morning read I needed with my coffee before college. Thank you for that!

Is there a legitimate reason to remove support of custom manager profile pictures? It was a lovely QoL feature. I mean, it's still doable from outside of the game, which is... Just a harder, legitimate way to do something that was previously featured on FM. Shame.

Quite the disappointment when they outright remove QoL features like that and making us work hard for our immersion. Hopefully this is getting fixed.

Boldklubben Frem is a Danish sports club based in the Valby-Sydhavnen area of Copenhagen. It is best known for its semi-professional football team. Since its foundation in 1886, Frem has won the Danish Championships six times and the Danish Cup twice. Until the disastrous bankruptcy in 1993, Frem had played in the top division all but six seasons. After the bankruptcy the club fought its way back to the top of Danish football, but in 2010 it went bankrupt again and was demoted to the Copenhagen Series—the fifth tier in the Danish league system. October & November 2023: TRANSFERS: He's going to be trained to play MR as a Wide Playmaker, I think he's got potential to do well in that role & position. GAMES: We found our form and the new tactic works wonders.

SEPTEMBER 2023: Still very poor in the league, annoying 5-5 draw with Grenoble after leading 5-2 at half time. Hopefully we'll do better.

AUGUST 2023 The tactic: Annoying month. Pau scored their only shot on target. Concarneau equalised on the 92nd minute. Ouch. Still, very happy with the results so far.

Welcome to Caen, France! My last Early Access save for this game, and a save that'd possibly continue into the main game to some extent. Nothing too exciting, just kind of a fallen giant here. Used to be a Ligue 1 regular in the early-mid 2010s and haven't found their way since relegating. Nice Facilities, talented squad... Let's go! Here we go!
