Wasn't sure whether to put this in the Bug Tracker or not, but... In my Man City save (FM24) I've just finished my first season, and won the Premier League. Kevin De Bruyne was injured until around mid-December - but when he came back he played almost every game and still managed to get 19 assists, in half a season. I have come to renew his contract in summer, as he only has one year left now, and it says he has absolutely no interest in renewing his contract. A Saudi Club are interested in him, but it is said that he has no interest in going there either. I just don't understand why he suddenly hates Man City and won't discuss a new contract. He's a legend at City! Has anybody else had this with De Bruyne? Or another player where it just doesn't make sense for him to not be interested in renewing?

Not currently based in Italy, and not exactly an unknown - but in my Man City save I scouted Wilfried Gnonto at Leeds, and he came back with a 4* Potential. Managed to sign him for just £15m and included loaning him back to Leeds for the rest of the season, to give him game time to continue developing. Be interesting to see how he turns out!

It just says 'Available 6th November' I've emailed them asking for a refund so I can rebuy the version which does have Early Access - but not sure how quick they will respond. The Early Access version costs £2 more too - I didn't think they were allowed to do that.

While we're all here - I'm really no understanding the 'Your World' option when starting a new game. Does it basically mean none of the Summer Transfer business has happened? It's basically FM23 squads?

I'm taking my laptop to work with me, so I can install as soon as the BETA is released - then I can crack straight on with my save when I get home!

Some people might not find being a 'big club' that much fun on Football Manager - but I am always Man City. Mainly because I support them, but also my favourite thing to do is develop youngsters, and they either have the best in their academy - or I can poach them from elsewhere. Anyway...I also like to set myself the challenge of breaking records. Premier League titles, Champions League Titles, Club Record goalscorer, etc. However, the one I have never managed to beat - despite having put together some of the best squads possible, and having strikers with the most ridiculous goalscoring records - is Ronaldo's goals scored in one Champions League Season (17). Has anyone ever beaten this? And, is there any other record you're struggling to beat?

I would like Rashford, but I cant see any United players coming over - especially not him! I could try and unsettle him though, but not holding my breath!

Hi All I don't really have time to play FM as much as I used to now I have a baby - what used to be 20-30 season careers are probably down to me getting through maybe 10 seasons max. And so, my style of play has to change with it. Whereas previously I would scout the world for the best young talent and develop them through their careers, and recycle the squad every 4-5 years - now, I am playing a much shorter term game. And so, I have decided to do a save where I adopt Real Madrid's 2000-2006 Transfer Policy of signing at least one galactico (superstar) every summer. Whether that player fits into my squad, or I even really need them, is irrelevant. I am just going to blow almost my entire transfer budget on one or two superstars each summer until I have a squad of World Class Footballers. I was planning to be guided by the annual News Item of the 50 Best Players in the World, and just target the top 5 players in that list until I can agree a transfer for one of them, but was wondering if any of you have any suggestions too? In the first Summer Transfer Window I signed Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich for about £90m, and Jude Bellingham for Borussia Dortmund for £108m (in installments). My plans next were Vinicius Junior and Josko Gvardiol - but let me know if you have any other suggestions of who you would consider a galactico and are an achievable signing for Manchester City!

Looking for a good size English Club, with financial difficulty but a good academy, who i can start a new save with and rebuild using youth academy graduates whilst dealing with the restrictions that come with a club in financial trouble - not Derby County though as did them last season. I'm thinking Birmingham City, but any other suggestions?

Just won the Premier League with Newcastle in the 4th Season - and a squad almost entirely put together by me (the only players still in the squad from the start of the game are Alexander Isak and Nick Pope). I'm really happy with the whole squad - it is quite young but full of quality players. I'm about 2 weeks to the beginning of a new season and haven't signed anybody of note - just a couple of youngsters who I have loaned out straight away, and sold squad players who weren't happy with their role, and have promoted youth to replace those players. And so, I don't really need to sign anybody - but also have a £218m transfer budget burning a hole in my pocket. I'm almost hoping somebody comes in and signs one of my Key Players, just so I can sign somebody new. It seems almost boring to go into the new season without any new signings. What do you guys do in the transfer window if you're happy with your squad? Sign somebody just for the sake of it, or just crack on with the new season with the squad that you have?

I just don't understand it. Also, I have Josko Gvardiol in my Newcastle Save, club captain, one of my highly influential players, and definitely one of my best players - but, in the backroom staff meeting the suggested I transfer list him as he isn't in my Squad Plan!! If I'd been on Autopilot and just clicked 'Accept Suggestions' it could well have created a problem with his happiness at the club!

I would too - I'll be blowing the entire transfer budget on Jonjo Shelvey and taking those horrible b**tards down from the inside!

I'm a bit confused, and annoyed. On my Newcastle BETA save I've been sacked! Now, maybe it's just me - but I think it's fair to say Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool & Spurs would be expected to finish above Newcastle (the media prediction of 7th confirms this). I was 7th, only behind those teams - had got to the Qtr Final of the League Cup, only to lose on Pens to Man Utd, and was in the 4th Round of the FA Cup - and they sacked me. Does the calibre of players you sign adjust the expectations? I made some pretty good signings - Tielemans, Gakpo, Ibrahimovic, Torreira, Bastoni - so maybe they expected more because of the names I'd signed. But, I also think it's a bit snide!

They have a funny name on my save - no license for them this year?

I've gone for Newcastle on the BETA - much smaller transfer budget this year of £40m (though can be adjusted to £63m), so can probably buy one star (James Maddison is about £60m) or 2-3 more reasonably priced squad players. Depending how the BETA goes I'll either continue this save or start again with my local club - Stockport County. I only tend to do one save for the whole year rather than have multiple going on, so I need to choose wisely!

Hello Not sure if this has been done already, but had a thought earlier about how fun a game would be if English Clubs were only allowed to sign English Players. So, once the current foreign players at English clubs in the game move on or retire, their replacement would have to be English - and eventually all English Clubs would only have English players. If this has been done already, please share the link to download the database - if not, I might do it myself if there is sufficient interest.
