  1. AI transfer is just awful as you say. Really makes it hard to immerse yourself in saves. I don't know if it's allowed to link them directly here, but there are some active topics on the FM Reddit at the moment about AI transfer and some of the comments give some insight into the issues if you are curious!
  2. How do you do this please?! Genuinely one of the worst things in the game. It's embarrassing they're released in the same state every year. A "disable media" tickbox would be nice because it's beyond awful.
  3. What’s wrong with the Steam Workshop? You click subscribe on a mod and it applies it to your game.. I don’t know how it could be easier. Not sure how yours are taking days to download of showing up in different places when Steam automatically downloads a tactic go the relevant tactic folder, shortlists go in the shortlist folder, etc.. you know you can right click on a download and press “show in folder” instead of searching through folders in folders for things you’ve downloaded? Again, your browser has a default download location so it’s really not rocket science.
  4. I'm not sure that exists. You can download 'real fixtures' pack, but I don't think you can simulate/set up the game to match the current table/results so far IRL.
  5. Do 1200+ people really work for SI for free every year doing all these transfer and data update research?
  6. Hey guys does have, or know how to remove all the squad/transfer rules? E.g brexit, limit in signing u21s, home grown player requirement for certain cups, work permit requirements etc i just want to sign/sell who I want regardless of their age or where they are born cheers
  7. Ha yeah. It actually says “send to freak injury specialist” which sadly I didn’t manage to screenshot. blew my mind seeing a new screen / button after 1 million hours of FM. I had no idea it was April fools irl or ingame until it popped up so took me a while to realise what had happened
  8. Somehow this is the first time I've ever seen the April Fools news item in FM
  9. Is there any way to filter loans to show only ones that don't require a wage percentage? Basically it seems almost everyone I click on who is available or interested in a loan, their club ask for a % of their wage to be paid. I am trying to not spend any money, because I've got no money. There are potential loans out there where it says "the club requires no fee/wage to loan this player" but it seems you can only find out by individually making a loan offer for players
  10. I really think you've misinterpreted, or decided to take umbrage at my comment unnecessarily there but it does seem to have upset you, so I've just deleted the post because that wasn't the intention. Apologies.
  11. edit - nevermind, RDF said everything I said better and more succinctly
  12. Sorry I just realised you already said this in your initial post. I should learn to read properly!
  13. Does the In Game Editor cost money or is that the other one?
  14. I didn't realise actually until recently, that you can see where the people who work on the game have posted directly via the Developers Posts button https://community.sigames.com/discover/235/ So you can occasionally see them engage, or acknowledge bugs at least.
  15. Ah sorry you had replied to him and me, so I thought you were part of this discussion
  16. I would probably suggest if you want feedback and opinions on FM24, reading the feedback thread where people who are playing the game post their thoughts and opinions is actually a good idea in order to get a balanced opinion. The bug report forum can also give you a good idea of current issues and if they’re a big deal to you or not. I would also recommending checking out the FM Reddit, it’s pretty positive and entertaining and can give you some fun inspiration to buy the game. the feedback thread can get a bit emotional sometimes as people are passionate about the game and get frustrated sometimes but It also has lots of praise for the game in it, so I don't think it's fair to say it's just full of moaners. imo if you enjoy FM, buy FM24. It’s not perfect but nothing is. We all moan about issues with FM but we all play FM all day anyway

  18. Of course, anyone who finds the game less challenging than you is "cheating" in various ways. And why is the way to make the game more "realistic and difficult" to download an unofficial skin which obscures a large portion of the games data? That's not realistic. Only signing players from your village, only signing 4 foot Andorrans, those aren't 'realistic' "don't use player search" well of course that makes the game more difficult. Put Bukayo Saka in goal as well, that'll make it more difficult. Did you know you can make Call Of Duty more difficult by intentionally not shooting enemies? So you make the game more difficult by just using a default tactic, and then not doing any tweaking or actual football management... so that's don't make a tactic, don't download a tactic, don't use player search, don't look at player stats, don't sign good players.. Sounds realistic. It's cool if people want to set up their own challenges and restrictions but it's annoying how the usual response here to people saying the game needs to be more challenging, is essentially "have you tried not scouting?" "Have you tried intentionally not using effective tactics?" or even boasting they've lost 10 matches in a row or have never won a trophy or something, as if that's a sign the game is hard and not that a) they've purposely hamstrung themselves in a way that is not realistic to being a football manager or b) they're actually just rubbish at the game You can't sign a "16 year old wonderkid from Peru" as a League 2 side in the game. And if it was possible IRL, clubs would be daft not to explore the opportunity even if it wasn't one of their "club visions"
  19. What does this mean? Because consistently getting battered by teams worse than you doesn't sound very realistic.
