Kinda nails it, apart from this thread, no one I know gives a ****, mainly as it's a crap time of year, people are in work, and it's midway through the domestic seasons. Just all adds up (again, anecdotally) into people I know not bothering.

Hah. No, mother-in-law is a bit dippy, went to park and she's got lost at some cafe, ended up walking around Hyde Park to find her, got stuck in the crowd of people and just gave up and had to stand till it dispersed. So if I was saw, I was the grouchy looking one with a green coat on, leaning on a buggy.

Mate of mine is a painter/decorator. He's gone in today, but in his misses car and not his van with adverts on because he didn't want the bad publicity for being seen to be working instead.

For those in the know, we were at Mile End station and we were the only people there, our tube in was fecking deserted. People are certainly at home.

Yeah, had a passion for never been able to shut up as well, my cousins wedding as father of the bride his speech went on for 30 minutes. My aunt was bawling for the first 3 minutes, stopped till about 2 mins from the end where they pulled the curtain across to send him off to the inferno and set her off again. His wake was good though.

Because her mother summoned her. She's an idiot, I know we only live under an hour away but come on, I'm going to be surrounded by flag wavers. Gonna wear some green to feel slightly better.

Already had the argument about 'why do you not want to go?', 'oh, I don't know love something to do with getting up with our daughter at half 5, having work tommorow and not wanting to go to Central London to sit in a fecking park because everything else is shut.' Suffice to say, she was unimpressed.

Misses going into Central London to meet her mom, which means I am going. .

I went to the chicken shop, and got myself a doner wrap and the misses got a tower burger. Its what Liz would have wanted. I was an emotional wreck after it was finished, namely as I went for spicy and knew that this morning was going to be sore.

Well, nah, but then you just switch it off and ignore it. By all accounts (save to speaking as a whole), Liz did a good job of respecting decolonisation and has done decent enough work to maintain/repair relations that Britain had, her visit to Ireland for example.
