  1. The humidity in the US summer is the killer. Like breathing in pure moisture is absolutely draining.
  2. Hosts getting favourable results has been a thing for a while no? Wasn't South Korea very suspect at the time?
  3. Yeah, but not at a price that'll be going for the types that follow England away, plus most of the gear selling tends to be taken with from the UK or associates that operate within the host country. Qatar is risky.
  4. If you buy through Steam they can be very kind with regards to the refund.
  5. Didnt know Stevie Wonder was posting on OTF.
  6. There's been videos on Jimenez training (and being unable to even lift his leg over a tiny fence) and the comment from the Mexico fans (for those who can understand a bit of Spanish) has been hilarious. . The one legged little donkey coming home for Christmas the one that stuck out.
  7. Not even sure Mexico have a decent team. Raul Jimenez can barely run and hes currently in the squad.
  8. Lovely. I refunded FM23 but have the bug for FM still.
  9. @XaW @darren1983 Gents, can this thread be used for FM 22 as well?
  10. I can put my Coady cheerleading pom poms away to say that Tomori is a superior defender to him. He's there for the cheerleader role though.
  11. Yeah. It's cold, wet and dark by 4pm, rammed pubs in the winter are drab affairs at times. I was speaking for UK/Ireland perspective where the weather plays a huge factor here, it's dark, dismal and grim, you set off for work in the dark and come home in the dark. When you are trying to get people up for things and feeling the vibe, it's a much tougher ask than going out in the summer sun.
  12. You aren't alone on this, we are struggling to get a few of the lads together for a beer in November because of Xmas is on the horizon. Even the England supporters in the bunch are just meh about everything, just get to Xmas and go out then seems to be the vibe. I don't mind, but even the usual excuse to get away from the misses saying 'well, it's a world cup/euros!' Isn't being used. I'm convinced it is to do with weather to be fair.
  13. Haha, that's always a bonus then, get to see the potential new home.
  14. Are we saying that the complexity is due to the vast possibility of outcomes that will come from a match engine, one would imagine the algorithm/code for a match would be infinitely complex, so the outcomes will always be an issue in the eye of the beholder (e.g. why didn't xyz player do xyz) and never a perfect system, and exercise in futility it could be said to try and perfect, as its impossible. My bug bear with the releases and pricing point is that there is a laundry list of issues that seem to be rolled forward from previous FM versions (makes absolute sense for a yearly game, not a criticism on the method), that seem to be just going on and on, they might be minute in size and may only impact in a fraction of cases, in which case I can fully understand they're down the list of priorities but firing up and seeing the same issue with Scottish u18s that has been in game for a few editions now becomes reminiscent to the feeling of paying for a patch, rather than a new game.
  15. Well, it rather is. That's the point, unless we can finally admit that the arbitrary demands of corporate to release a yearly product regardless of quality takes value over the customer experience, a practice often common within a monopoly. Leave the game in a beta state as mentioned above. Don't go full price release on a product that you've admitted needs fixing in a few weeks time. It's not hard.
  16. That is not what I said, I said if you *know* that a game is riddled with bugs, why then do you release said game with bugs, in full knowledge that the game will have to be fixed later down the line, whilst at the same time charging people for the pleasure (and a quite high amount, I will add) to play said bugged game. Postpone your release, fix the issue that you've acknowledged exists, and then release, or at least keep it in an acknowledged beta state until then.
  17. Don't usually venture here, but the logic of launching a game with bugs being absolutely fine is a parody. If it's bugged, and those bugs are known, then you postpone the release till theyre fixed, unless you are admitting that you are much more beholden to deadlines set by corporate than the customer who will receive the product, in which case the issue of price comes into focus.
  18. Morality aside, I work/commute during the hours it is on and reside in a household dominated by women. When I get free time, I would much rather do other things than watch a football game. So I voted none, because I'm not making an effort to actually watch it.
  19. Oh god, we've got a live one.
  20. Theyve got TVs in BrewDogs now? Only really been the Tower Hill one, it's expensive but it's nice enough, but I can't remember a TV in sight.
