Someone said they’ll just use the in game editor to exploit the game, isn’t that the compromise? If your objective is to game the system and have all the best 16 year olds that come through then you can have at it with the in game editor.

Sounds like a great change to me, much more realistic. It was far too easy to horde wonder kids.

I think for me, the common way to play previous FMs was one of high intensity and quite attacking to get the best results. I find that kinda play maybe puts too much pressure on defenses more now. Since I’ve changed to more patient, slower, less intense focused football style, the defenders seem to make less mistakes for me. I love the new ME, the more and more I tinker with things. I think it’s working very well, the play feels more realistic and there feels like there’s more options on how you can approach games, and I’m hopeful to see how it is on actual release day.

Hey, may I query, where might the option to request your director of football to suggest signings for specific positions, if you please? I have looked for it but can’t find it anywhere. Thank you for any help.

I honestly think the beta is great and I’m looking forward to seeing it all polished up for release. I just really wanted to say I think they have done a decent job with the game this year. I do have one or two issues such as set pieces and internationals being a bit of an afterthought, but those points have been made loud & clear already. The cup draws take far too long is my main negative right now. I mostly judge the game on how the match engine is playing out in regards to tactics and stuff and enjoyment to watch and I’m finding that bit very good, on the whole, keep up the good work SI!

Nobody is saying you can’t play with the top 6, but when you run through a season barely losing, what did really you expect? If you struggled as them to win then you’d be arguing the other way, that the game is too hard.

If genegerpress is too OP, then maybe try to win using different tactics. I am actively experimenting a lot these 2 weeks with what kinda works and what doesn’t with tactics that isn’t just gengerpressing.

I wouldn’t be too worried, they must collect an absolute tonne of data during these 2 weeks to work with and it’s usually all very solid and polished up by actual release day. They do a great job.

At least if we play as Liverpool as a save this year it’s less like taking over the best team and having it easy, it’s more of a ‘improve a mid table team challenge’ again.

You know, SIGAMES.. I’m one of the guys that decided not to buy the game this year but all the excitement has made me lose my senses and the lad Zealand makes such good videos, it’s temporarily won my over..I’ll probably buy if you release today. Otherwise I’ll talk myself out of it and move on by tomorrow..it’s as good a night as any..
