Peebles Rovers Season 8 Review I managed to finish 12th in the league this season which is what I was expecting with us making the step up in competition. We are now playing Celtic and Hearts reserves so the quality of opposition we are playing now has upped massively. Only 1 point difference between us and up to 7th place Pollok. Hopefully we can get a bit higher next season. Gradual progress is always the key. Lewis Kirk was our top goalscorer again but only with 13 goals this season. He doesn't seem as good as he was last season. Our other best player for the season was Dave Hutchinson who got the best average rating of 7.06 and scored 9 goals with 16 assists as well. I finally got a player to get an International Call Up. Granted it is only a Under 18's call up but I am still counting it.

Scottish Cup journey over for this season. We did make about £80k from the St.Mirren game which will help us greatly for the season moving forward.

Scottish Cup Run So Far We have got to the 5th round again. Beating Dunfermiline 4-3 in a thrilling game. We now have St.Mirren away which will hopefully bring us some decent money into the bank.

Part 2 A lovely 4-2 win. So far so good. Followed by a 3-0 win. Promotion guaranteed. Best Overall 11 Player Awards Lewis Kirk wins Player Of The Season and Young Player Of The Season. He was also top goalscorer and had the most assists. He ended up getting the best average rating pipping Connor Smith after the last 2 games. Finally some movement on the Supporters Profile front with a decrease in Core but an increase in Fair Weather fans. We also had 41 new social media followers.

Peebles Rovers FC Season 7 Review Part 1 We managed to top the league this season. A great effort by the lads. We had to go into some sort of Play Off league with 2 other teams Kilwinning Rangers & St.Cuthbert. Local lad Lewis Kirk was top goalscorer for the season with 18 goals and 18 assists. He had an amazing season. Our signing of the season was signing former Hearts player Connor Smith who managed to get the best average rating of 7.39 and he also scored 17 goals for the season. I will do part 2 in a minute after I have played the Play Off games.

Scottish Cup Dream is over for this season. I was really hoping to get a draw but Hibs were just too good. We had no chance. We broke our attendance record with 1,250 people turning up. A full house. Nice to see the stadium was full for this. We also broke the record for gate receipts with us getting £12k from the game.

Biggest game in Peebles Rovers history coming up soon. I am gutted it wasn't an away game. I am hoping to get a draw and then a replay at their ground. We have had another good Scottish Cup run so far.

Peebles Rovers FC Season 6 Review A good season for us with a 4th position finish and another decent cup run. Cole Smith was our best player with 21 goals and 8 assists. He also had the best average rating for the club with a 7.17 rating. Our other key player was Lewis Kirk who got 8 goals and a whopping 17 assists. Smith and Kirk are both academy boys as well which is nice to see. Squad Overview Overall Best 11 Player Awards Cole Smith cleaned up on the awards with the Player and Young Player of the season as well as the Goal of the Season and Top Goalscorer award. He also broke records for most appearances at the club with 96 games played, Most league goals scored, Most overall goals scored by a player in a season and most League goals scored by a player in a season. Our supporters profile again stays the same but we got 28 new social media followers.

Scottish Cup Dream Over We got destroyed by a way better team. On a more positive note we have a new attendance record when a bumper crowd of 828 people turned up.

The Cup run continues after we beat Cove Rangers 4-3. We now play Queens Park in the next round. I was really hoping for an away day game against Celtic or Rangers. I have no idea if we can Queens Park but we will try our best. Queens Park are 1st in the Scottish Championship

Scottish Cup Run So Far We are having another good season in the Scottish Cup with us getting past East Kilbride in the 3rd round. We got a tough game vs Cove Rangers in the 4th round but I got a feeling we could beat them. I am hoping we do as I would love us to play Rangers or Celtic at their ground in the next round.

Yeah they do. Really makes the Scottish experience stand out more.

Peebles Season 5 Review I managed to finish 8th with Peebles this season. I am happy with that. I was just happy to not be relegated. Hopefully we can make the play offs next season. In the cup competitions we managed to get to the 4th round of the Scottish Cup and the 5th round of the Scottish Challange Cup, Our top goalscorer was James Richardson. A 23rd year old striker we signed from Dundee. He was amazing for us in his first season with him scoring 20 goals for the season. Cole Smith was our best overall player with a 7.04 average rating. He also got 14 goals for the season. He is from our academy so the fans love him. Squad Overview Best Overall 11 Player Awards Tony Donaldson won the Player Of The Season and also the Young Player Of The Season. He got 9 goals and 9 assists. Also had a great average rating of 7.26. Supporters Profile Nothing changes on the Supporters side of things other then us getting 52 more social media followers.

We didn't beat Ross County but we gave it a good try. We made about £80k from that one game which is a big amount to get for a Scottish Cup game. Hopefully we can go on a similar run in the Scottish Cup next season.
