  1. Yeah I think you are right about that lol. Yeah I didn't noticed until after I started this thread how popular the Scottish Non-Leagues are on here. Cheers for the comment. I look forward to seeing what your next career thread takes you.
  2. Just had my first proper match with Peebles and it was very high scoring This is going to be a fun save I think.
  3. No money to sign players. No wages to sign players and also only 17 players in the squad. This is going to be a tough one to start off with
  4. Peebles Rovers on FM24 Facilities as expected with them being a Scottish Non-League team. Media expect us to finish 9th so hopefully the pressure is off us for the first season. According to this we need to get a striker in straight away. That will be our focus. The board and fans just want us to work within the budget and grow the clubs reputation while also attaining a top half finish in the league. I think we should be able to do that. I will update as I go along. I hope people will like this.
  5. Peebles Rovers FC Brief History Established in 1893, Peebles Rovers were members of the Scottish Football League Third Division between 1923 and 1926, finishing 14th and 8th in the two full seasons played, and were 14th in the unfinished 1925–26 season. In total, Peebles Rovers played 86 Scottish Football League matches, winning 28, drawing 15 and losing 43. They scored 159 goals and conceded 190. Their record victory at home was 7-1 against Beith on 18 April 1925. Their best away win was 5-2 against Galston, seven days previously on 11 April 1925. In 1937, Peebles Rovers moved from their traditional home in Victoria Park to Whitestone Park, after a local businessman successfully managed to acquire planning rights to the eastern end of Victoria Park, intending substantial development that was subsequently curtailed due to the start of World War II. Peebles Rovers have played in the Scottish Cup proper over twenty times, their first appearance being in 1907-08. They went on to play Hibernian at Easter Road in 1923, holding the Edinburgh side to a 0-0 draw, easily their best result in the competition. Their final Scottish Cup appearance was in 1965-66, when they drew 2-2 at Dumbarton and took the Sons to extra time in the replay before losing 3-2. Amongst Peebles Rovers achievements are six East of Scotland League titles. In the 1966-67, Rovers joined the junior grade of football until they rejoined the senior ranks in the East of Scotland League in 1980-81. In the 2007-08 season, Peebles won promotion to the East of Scotland Premier Division. The largest crowd at Whitestone Park is recorded as 1,750 for the 4-2 first round Scottish Cup win over Gala Fairydean in 1961. Modern Peebles Rovers Squad List Next post will be Peebles Rovers on FM24.
  6. Why Peebles Rovers? The reason why I have wanted to do this save for a while now is because my grandparents and Dad were born in the small town in the Scottish Borders. I had many happy memories of coming to Peebles as a kid before my grandparents moved to be closer to me and my family. They do very good steak pies as well. This save will be a nice tribute to my grandparents and I am hoping to win the Scottish Premiership with Peebles Rovers. I am using this Level 10 database I found from a guy called Mozza. Here is the file in case anyone wants to try it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l8WhglKjzMQ76DdTL8CxAY4dhwovu068/view My next post will be diving a bit more into Peebles Rovers FC.
  7. End Of Barnet Career I have decided to end this career thread with Barnet after the really bad financial situation put me off continueing with the save. I appreciate everyone who follow and commented. I am going to start a Scottish Non-League save now and will post a new career thread when I have figured out the team I am going to manage.
  8. Finally moved into our new stadium the poorly named Barnet Stadium. I want to call it the John Akinde stadium but it wont let me change the name. I aint paying for the in game editor to change the name though. Talking of legends I have now become a Barnet legend.
  9. After bigging him up Mullin has decided to spit his dummy out after a Saudi team come after him so I sold him to the Saudi team for £40m. I only signed him for £6m. I was just hoping to build a decent team around him.
  10. I have been wonderkid shopping again. Some really good prospects signed. Only cost me £56m in total for all of these. Hopefully some of these will become superstars for us or go onto to make the club big money.
  11. 19 of my boys are going to the World Cup. Such a proud parent right now.
  12. Barnet FC Season 10 Review Another decent season with a 5th place finish again but no trophies this year. We got knocked out of both domestic cups early on and we did managed to get through the round 16 of the Champions League with us losing to Juventus 3-1 on aggregate. I signed Josh Mullin from Liverpool in the summer for a bargain price of £6m and he has been that missing piece of the puzzle. A good striker who can score a goal. He got 15 goals in 28 games for us this season. I feel like he will score more next season. Marquinhos was our best overall player with 13 goals and 11 assists and he also had the best average rating of 7.29. Such a shame he is 31 years old. He feels like a player we should of had a few years a go when we first come into the Premiership. I managed to sign experienced English players Rico Lewis who is now 29 years old for £75m and 33 year old Marc Guehl for £10m. Both were key in keeping us in the top 5 position for the season. I spent £254m and received £302m for the season from transfers out. My other signing of the season after Mullin was Per Johnny Bjornstad Haugen who I signed for £47m from Porto. Him and Mullin give us great options up front and cause havoc for the oppositions defences. Squad Overview Best Overall 11 Player Awards Marquinhos gets Player Of The Season and Jun Kawasaki won the Young Player Of The Season. Kawasaki was really good with 12 goals and 3 assists. My aim next season is to get top 4 position in the league. I felt like this season was a bit of a missed opportunity to progress. Thanks for following.
  13. NXGN Top 50 has come out and I got 4 of my boys in the top 50. Nice to see my new policy doing well. Hosseini doing well on loan with Coventry. Definitely my future number 1 goalie with Solina getting older now. Norgaard hasn't played much for my first team but he has done well when called upon. He has been doing well for the youth team and reserves with 5 goals and 12 assists for the season so far. Heywood another one who hasn't played much first team football but has been doing amazing for the reserves with 12 goals and 21 assists so far.
  14. Oh ok I am just used to your exploits in exotic countries. I look forward to seeing how far you can take them.
  15. I am so used to you doing certain saves that it feels weird you doing a non-league save but weird in a good way. Are you going to be signing any African players if possible?
  16. 14 of the 20 wonderkids I signed aren't coming cos of the annoying rule of only being able to sign 6 foreign under 21 year old players.
  17. I assumed we would be playing Europa League football but I just got this in my inbox which is a nice bonus.
  18. Barnet FC Season 10 Review We had a great season with us winning an FA Cup, Getting past the group stages of the Champions League and also getting a 5th place finish in the league. Only 4 points seperating 5th and 2nd place. A couple of more wins and we can become title contenders. We are progressing very nicely. We managed to get through to the last 16 of the Champions League with us losing 6-4 on aggregate to PSG. Radovic was our best player with 26 goals from 40 games with 5 assists and a sold average rating of 7.10. Ibragimov was our best overall player for the season with 20 goals, 7 assists and the best average rating at the club with a 7.18 rating. Marquinhos was one of our signings of the season. We paid £30m for him after he had a succesful loan spell with us the season before. He score 10 goals and got 12 assists for the season. Our other best signing was Shumaira Mheuka who we signed for £23m from Chelsea after he did well for us the season before when he was on loan. He also was our FA Cup hero. He scored 21 goals and got 6 assists for the season. Most of our other signings were players signed for the future and they were mostly sent on loan. I did sign a few experienced players as well. Julian Alvarez, Kienan Dewsbury-Hall, Francisco Trincao, Marc Cucurella and Kalky were signed on free transfers. Julian Alvarez was the best of the bunch. I managed to sign 20 wonderkids that arrive in the summer. Mostly ones on the NXGN list. This will be what I will end up doing from now on. Sign a few experienced players on free transfers to tutor the young players and fill the squad up while we bring the young players through and then just raid the NXGN list for wonderkids.
  19. 5-1 to Barnet Pavlas with a lovely header from a corner scores and avenges his own goal from earlier. We done it!!! The clubs first FA Cup win.
  20. 4-1 to Barnet A hilarious defensive error between Liverpool's goalie Moore and defender Jimenez lead to Mheuka taking advantage and scoring his hattrick.
  21. Liverpool score 3-1 Gravenchurch with a free kick that comes off Pavlas who scores the own goal. Liverpool with a slight chance. 1st half ends 3-1
  22. 3-0 to Barnet Ibragimov scores after a shot from Antinori had a shot defected and laid it off to Ibragimov to poke it in.
  23. 2-0 to Barnet Mheuka scores again from a shot after a corner comes in and Cardaccio headers it towards Mheuka who half volleys it in. A great start to the game.
  24. FA Cup Final Live 1-0 to Barnet Marquinhos with a lovely over the top ball to Mheuka who slots into the net from a right foot shot.
