Ouch... Btw there was a Commonwealth of Independent States Cup for ex-Soviet countries. You can use this structure and/or name for that regional cup.

It does say that regarding a EURO 2028/32 Bid procedure, not the general participation of the clubs in UEFA tournaments. Which is logic, as Russia cannot apply to 2028/32 Euro while it is under a ban. But the participation of Russian teams in European competitions should not be hard-coded in the game. Even your quote says "when the suspension will be lifted", which means that tomorrow or later (could be 2, 5, 10 years or more) the suspension will be eventually lifted. It is not indefinite.

Does it mean that FM 2023 will reflect the decision accordingly and will only ban Russian teams for one season or will continue banning them indefinitely?
The ban could be extended, but it should be done in a random manner and not hard-coded, similarly as it was done for Brexit case.

Hi @Wolf_pd, do you have issues with Russian clubs even within a newly created championship on 22.4? I mean is it impossible at all to make them playing against clubs from other nations even in a custom database (like in eurocups or custom tournaments)?

But you confirm that the ban will eventually be lifted in some time. So would be better to do a similar to Brexit situation, where the game randomly "decides" when the ban will be lifter. Could be 5 years, could be 15... Just do your guess, as SI already did for Brexit.

I think the reason for this is if a player is "unhappy" in his current team, it is actually a bonus for a potential buyer, as it will be easier and cheaper to negotiate the deal. So no real contradiction here

Just an idea for the future : instead of starting a new save, you could retire, create a new manager with low skills and continue the old save! So you would not be picked by a big team, but will start on a low level, as expected.
But it is your career and you choose

Interesting also to see three Scottish teams in the UCL group stage. It is really amazing how the football world changed in your save. Even small European countries where you have never played show impressive results.

@Conardo, just a hint: open a Wikipedia page with the injury you want to check in English and then choose a page with your language. If a such page does exist, usually you get 100% accurate translation.

Have anyone already tried to create a Champions League with a swiss- like system, what media are talking about in the last days?
I believe the system like this should be possible with the Advanced editor and I would like to know if anyone have yet any prototypes or ideas?

Yes, you can. The graphics is applicable for all versions normally. I have also moved the graphics from FM20 to FM21 beta and it works.

I was thinking about a similar structure. Only the difference, that there are only big teams in top regional divisions (like CSKA, Shakhtar, Zenit), so no small teams from Estonia, Armenia and so on. But smaller teams, that are not present in the top united division, during european slots play they own tournament (like a CL with groups and play-off), and best, let's say, two teams (finalists) get a promotion to the top league for the next season. On this case all teams will be involved to the competition, and in the same time the large difference between teams from different countries will be avoided.

How to qualify teams playing in a third country to european cups from they home country?
So, for example, I want to make that Swansea qualifies to Champions League as the best team of Wales, then take Cardiff as a second place team and so on.
