Lung
In the second season of the game Fiorentina bought THREE Goalkeepers. Frey hasn't even been sold so they're left with 3 Goalkeepers that could walk into any side (Frey, Ustari, De Sanctis) and two decent backups in Storari and Avramov(in reserves). What the hell? Has anyone seen something even crazier than this?
JamesB
Yes. I watched 2 Girls 1 Cup. I wouldn't recommend it.
Lung
5 Men 1 Net is surely worse.
PLF
lol @ James. Disgusting!! haha But yah, you definitely have a point here Lung. This is indeed very unrealistic and stupid. I just hope it's not a frequent problem. Is it?
N^G
looks like fiorentina are attempting to create a monopoly on decent keepers!
Asjo
It always seems like AI clubs buy too many goal-keepings. I rarely notice the problem for other player positions.
Dale Gribble
In all fairness, Man City did bid on 5 major strikers/shadow strikers in the summer, it's not just the game
pleasure_viking
5 Men 1 Net is surely worse. Ever seen 3Guys1Hammer?
phnompenhandy
Back in FM06 or 07 I had a savegame where AI Livingston acquired about 30 goalkeepers!!! You could have a repeat of a very rare bug. Keep an eye on them to see if they buy more keepers and maybe report it in theb ugs forum.
Lung
O_O Just noticed that Storari went on loan this Jan. transfer window in real life. Maybe they'll sign Ustari next...
atonement
Ever seen 3Guys1Hammer? 6 guys, 1 cat though it was in black and white which made it kind of artsy i guess ive seen similar things happening where the AI will spend 30 odd million on a player then he'll maybe get 8 appearances in 3 years
Nufc Buck
best thing about this kind of thing is they usually play the worst one and you can sign the best for nothing. Diego Bounanate at man city for 26 mill i sign him for 3 and a half after 2 seasons cus they had like 7 att mid.
Lung
Man City's striker options are ridiculous. Mark Hughes' preferred formation has only one striker up front but he has something like 7 or 8 quality strikers in his team. Robinho usually starts up front for them but they have the likes of Michael Owen, Jo, and Gomis rotting away on the bench or in the reserves.

He transferred for around 30 mil and became a bench warmer.
