Thomason, Banega, Tuia and Refaelov have all requested transfers. should get over 30mil for the 4 of them plus i have players to come in for them. Ibrahim is going to make the right midfield position his own. Just signed Mauro who is nearly as good as Banega already and he's only 17 (been waiting nearly 2 years for him to come). geoff morrow is going to step in for thomson, although all prem big boys sniffing about. also signed Samuel for 1.8mil as replacement for Piatti (just signed new 5year deal) who i can't hold onto forever. He's just won player of the year for 3rd year in a row. andybreslin Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 Hello im a celtic fan , however i wanted to start a game with rangers. i sold players such as "burke, novo, papac, buffel, cousin, mc cullagh and thompson". from this i had a good transfer budjet and managed to bring in " steven caldwell, jay mc eveley, flamini ( loan ), eagles ( loan ), breno, alex and altidore. lulinha coming in june 2008. steven caldwell is immense . every week and i mean every week he is in the team of the week and i have conceded bearly any goals since he has arrived. i sit top of the league 6 points behind celtic haha. through to the last 16 of champs league through a difficult group, barca, psv and olympicos. does any 1 know of any players that could possibly strengthen my squad for europe Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Got to final of Cl but got beat off of Man U. Got Forster coming in. Looking to strenghten my central midfield area as well. Currently got Piatti and Banega playing there. I am going to promote Bicfalvi and Andrade this term (both been out on loan). Anyone know how these 2 will get on before i go out and buy someone i dont really need. In my game Andreas signed for Real on a free from Lyngby and Mads still plays for kobenhaven. I Havnt managed to find Milan Prso or Mauro though. Has Morrow came through your youth system. Celtic giving me a run for my money this season. Currently 2 points behind them and on a 17game unbeaten run (just shows how well there playin). They come back with high recommendations and I snap them up. My under 19 team are out of this world. They could prob win SPL lol. Only every had 2 wonderkids so hard to come by. I've got that prob at the moment. I have a 22 year old Spaniard called Samuel who is AMC. He is a quality player who all my coaches say is as good as Piatti. Prob is Piatti is a legend. He's scored over 100 goals in 4 years and has won the player of the year and fans player of the year for last 3 years and on course to do same again this year. He is now listed in the rangers favored personnel. Bayern came in for him and and i knocked them back. Piatti then came out and said due to his love of the club and manager he would be going nowhere. Piatti is steadily becoming my all time favourite player in footie manager even going back to the old champ days. To cut a long story short - how will Samuel ever get a game. I've retrained him as a centre mid but no way can he get in team ahead of Mauro and Morrow. He must be fast and be good at dribbiling and under 7M. I also need a replacement for Bogdon Lobont my GK. I have rejected bids of 5M as he is amazing in goal for me but he wants to move even though i am listed in his favoured personal and rangers on his clubs. So i managed to get Everton from Parana on the skin of my teeth because he got the work permit at 23:45 on the 31st of January lol. I also got Dean Bouzanis from Liverpool for 1.5M + add ons + Allan Mcgregor. As you can see my 2 young midfield wonderkids have both been sold by board. You could spend a liftime as a manager looking for a wonderkid. I had 2 of them in same team for 18months and what an 18months it was. they leave me in january 19pts clear at the top of the league and 27pts yes 27 clear of celtic. I am out of champ league. Me, chelski and dortmund all finished on same points. dortmund had better head to head than me but both me and chelski drew both games against each other 2-2. i had an overall better goal difference than them but they still went through.
