A lot of good results this pre-season. The defeats came against teams from two leagues above us.

A perfect start! I am bit surprised we beat SIF, as they are predicted to finish in the top three.

We're falling down the table quickly... After the brilliant start, everything is falling apart. Two of the teams we have won against is below us in the table at least.

 

Suomen Cup

A very good run in the Cup this season, but it ended with a defeat to KuPS. It was by far the biggest team we have played so far in the save!

 

Kuopion Palloseura is a mid table Veikkausliiga team. Veikkausliiga er the first tier in Finland.

Another Excellent preview!

I have no idea why the top of the stars keep missing, but it's annoying

The fullback position is probably our weakest at the moment, so if this preview is the real deal, I'm all for it

We have turned everything around, and we are the team in form in the league! Only four points behind the league leaders, but a long way to go. We are scoring a lot of goals, but we're conceding way to many as well.

Two defeats this month. Both of them came against teams that could win the league.

Gutted... Going in to the last game of the season we were first, and had everything in our hands. But after a horrible display in the SJK Akatemia/2 match, we lost the title, and the promotion. First to fourth in one game

But, I have to say that I am happy with how the season turned out, even with us losing the title in the last game. We were predicted to be in the relegation battle, and we did much better!

The HoYD at the club just giving us great players! Julle Ngungambili (YP07a) looks brilliant for this level, and I hope he is the one that will fire us in to the next league! We also get a new starting leftback, and CM that feature a lot!

We have the best possible coaches at this level, but the players don't grow that much attribute wise so far down the leagues. Even with playing a lot of games!

I guess the potential ability of the players plays a part as well, as they can't outgrow their maximum PA. And of course we're not getting any top quality players in the 4-5-6-7 tiers of Finland

This looks a lot better than last season, even though we are predicted to finish close to the bottom this year as well.

A month of goals! Still no clean sheet, but at least we're scoring a lot goals. The destruction of No Stars is the biggest win ever for us!

Very close to a perfect month! And we got our clean sheet! We lost against the team that was predicted to win the league, the newly relegated Jakobstads Bollklubb.

 

Suomen Cup

The third round we played against Kokkolan Pallo-Veikot, a club from the second tier, and we got our biggest win of the save!

 

Then we got knocked out by FC Jazz, also from the second tier. They have one of the best names in football

Another great month, as we win all three games! We will have at least 7 points down to KPS.

Youth Intake Preview

Not a single "A" rating, but still it's suggested that it is an "excellent" youth intake.

We missed three key players in the three last games of July, and really struggled without them. All of them are back in August, thankfully! We're still seven points ahead of KPS though.

It's gonna be close, yet again! I am really annoyed with the defeat to KPS, as I felt we were the better team. We are still ahead however, and we face 4th, 11th and 13th the coming month... They will play 5th, 6th, and 7th.

We did it! Another promotion secured!

If not for Kokkolan Palloseura, this would have been plain sailing, but they kept on our tail all the way to end of the season. They had sub-par September, and even lost their last game 0-4.

Next season will be really tough, as that is the first season we will face the semi-professional teams!

Youth Intake 2028

Not the out-and-out star player this season, but the depth is amazing!

The highest rated player in terms of CA is Gustaf Jansson (YP08a), but I doubt he will be key player for us, as he does not fit any of the positions that I use. Even when trained in another poistion.

Johan Pettersson-Andersson (YP08c) will be the new starting RB, and Jonas Carström (YP08b) should feature a fair bit as the other strikers get tired.

The lowest rated player when sorted by CA, Christoffer Gunnarsson (YP08p), will probably knock our current starting GK out of the team soon.

The goal of the save, as always with a youth only game, is to go as far as possible with only players coming through the youth system at the club. I have never managed in Finland before, so I am looking forward to this.

We're in the western part of Finland. And of the little info I could find, I think they speak Swedish as well as Finnish in this area. At least the name of the club is written in Swedish.

They have played in the Conference League and Europa League, and have a few wins. But have not gotten out of the group stages.

Of course the level of players in this league is not the greatest, but we are still punching way above our weight

A bit of everything this month! We actually extented our lead by two more points, as the teams behind us keep losing points to each other. It's extremely tight behind us, and everyone could get relegated if everything goes against them. Six games to go, we could actually win the league first try!

I don't know how many times everything has been on stake going in to the two last games of the season, but it has been a few times already in this save. One more win will be enough. We are playing 4th and 6th, KPV will face 8th and 5th.

For the first time ever we get a youth intake before the end of the season, as we play more games at this level. And it is another great youth intake!

Yan Loumingou-Thémopolé(YP09a) will go straight in to the starting eleven as our new GK.

Other than him, the three next players (When sorted by CA) are wingers, all of them, and that is not good, as I do not use wingers in my tactic

Juuso Juntunen (YP09f), Dan Karlsson (YP09e) and Fritiof Fogelblad (YP09h) will be close to a place in the team as well.

No matter what happens in our games, we are the champions!

To my, and everyone elses surprise, we won the league as a newly promoted team! On the way we broke the record for the most league goals scored We only spent one year in this league, but we might back here in two years time, as I really think we will struggle in the Ykkönen. The team that won the league last season got relegated right away, and they have a better squad that us, at least on paper.

 

I might have gone a bit overboard with how many players I gave debuts to in the last game of the season It did not matter though, as we already had won the league!

 

We have two players in the team of the season.

 

We have grown from a 0.5* club to a 1.0*, I wonder if that will have a impact on the youth intakes?

Not a lot of friendlies this season, as we're in a new Cup that takes place in February/March!

 

It's not a surprise that we are predicted to finish last. I hope we can do a lot better than that

No league games so far this year, but we were part of a new Cup, called Ykköscup. This is a cup for team from the second and third tier of Finnish football.

The first team we faced was JJK, and they play in the same league as us. But all the other teams play in the second tier, so we did really good against them!

In the end FC Espoo lost the final.

A very good start in the league! Doubtful this is the position we'll be in at the end of the season, but one can only hope.

In the Cup we got knocked out by Gnistan, from the second tier.

 

At the end of the month, we get the first offer ever for one of our players. I rejected it of course.

Two wins and two defeats is decent, but that 3-6 game against JJK was really annoying.

When we have our best team, we can compete with anyone in this league, but the problem is the quality outside of the starting eleven.
