We almost pulled off one more.

Sergio Busquets was only my plan B as DLP.

My plan A was a 37 y/o Leonardo Bonucci, who was listed by request.

I think we could've gotten 2 more years out of him, as DLP in the midfield.

Sadly....he decided to retire in the summer.

 

Also I got my eyes on a certain spanish RB, who would be the perfect mentor for Aarons.

I think now we got enough of the old veterans and overall a pretty nice mix.

Its coming all pretty nice together.

 

At the start I told to myself, this could be done in 5 or 6 seasons, depending if we can promoted the 1st season.

Not only we picked up a huge W against Frankfurt in the EL, we got a deserved draw vs Spurs.

 

Chelseas under their new coach.....Pep...is looking strong.

Trippier sadly never really done much.

If he played, he was always prone to mistakes.

Well...the lose vs Arsenal means we can plan for next season.

And we finish the season on an amazing 3rd place.

In the end only 2 points between us and City & Chelsea.

 

Talking about them, Pep blew it on the last day, so CIty won the title.

 

The media predicions was right.

Araujo had a fair chance of beein top goalscorer.

 

And since Haaland is a cheat in the game, I take that.

Sergio Busquets signed a new deal.

Yes, its shows that he got only an average rating, but its thinks the game doesnt treat him well.

90% of every goal starts with him.

He plays the 3rd/4th/5th pass before the goal, so he doenst get any real credit for it.

End Of Season Review 2024/25

We got our top 4 finish. In the end it was even really close.

 

Also we played an amazing Europa League campaign. Sadly we lost the final...

The team is overall really really good.

I decided to buy Lodi and Icardi after their loan spells for pretty cheap in my eyes.

Lodi is the offensive wingback I want.

And we found the Inter Mauro Icardi, so this was a no brainer.

End Of Season Review 2024/25 - Stats

 

We are goin into our 5th season at Bristol City.

I see us playing for the title.

After Icardi and Lodi, they next two signing are here.

 

Matip had only a contract until the end of this season, but in England you cant go for pre-contracts.

So I decided to pay the 1 mio to secure him. Really nice veteran and now 3rd choice CB. 

He will replace Thaete, who leaves the club. I didnt want to sell him, but our old DoF gave him a 7,5 mio/year contract.

 

Brambetti is a nice wonderkid and the replacement for Carvajal.

Hey only 4 goals in the CL.

 

He scored in 3 years 134 goals in the league for City.
