Yes, we got fresh relegated. 

 

Almost all signings should be La Liga level players, maybe already or in 1-2 seasons.

That why I sold 90% of the relegated team and went the young and cheap route.

I almost lived completely of my shortlist, which I slowly filled at Venezia.

 

Im close to fishing the transfer business and I did some miracles to the wage bill.

Transfer Overview - Summer 2029

One thing I hate about Spain are the "B" teams.

Always filled with useless stuff, which only costs money.

We made roughly 80 mio by selling almost the entire team.

The wages on some players where completely rediculous.

 

We cut the wage bill by 20 mio!

And I think we got a much better team.

And we got 30 mio in the bank.

 

And we still got some budget to play.

 

IN

Yes we bought an entire new team for 85 mio.

Technically only 5 mio.

But by saving 20 mio wages, we still made roughly 15 mio profit.

 

The big ones are Duvan G., Hede, Catlyn, Kabiru, Brandt, Mandanda, Guidi.

 

I almost used my shortlist for the entire squad.

But my scouts did some wonders too.

Squad Overview - Summer 2029 Part 1

 

Goalkeeper

Still cant believe Duvan decided to join us and not joining the Man City loan army.

I was planning with him at Venezia this season. I guess the plan is still the same, but only the direction changed.

Borja is a decent youngster and will get some game time too.

 

Moha Ramos is a treat for me. Its a trip back to memory lane.

Me first finished story was the UD Lanzarote adventure in FM20.

Back then Ramos was the best keeper you could've gotten.

Centerback

Kabiru will our main man in the back two.

We might spent a bit too much on him, but he is English, so you know the plan. 

The rest is good enough for the 2nd tier.

Wingback

Another English man in Alex Catlyn. Wonderkid wingback for 16mio.

He gets joined by Brandt, a Danish monster wingback. He is already know the IWB role.

Our right side should be sorted for the next years.

 

The left side is a bit weak. Spencer is good for this season and as backup in La Liga.

Pedro Diaz is one of the originals, who survived the culling.

He also signed a new deal with cheaper wages.

With Guidi we already got his successor.

Squad Overview - Summer 2029 Part 2

 

Box To Box

After the culling we had only one CM and this was club captain Fede San Emeterio. He also survived.

We needed to play 4/5 friendlies with trail players.

 

Araujo, Hall and Boukamir were all transfer listed, because they refused to sign new deals.

The B2B role is low priority, so Im happy with the selection.

Attacking Midfield

Peter Hede for 2,7 mio is straight robbery. Nuff said.

Sanz would've been a Venezia player this summer too. So Im really happy here.

Mandanda is another player with a English background. Spicy F9 so far.

Marcos will be his AF partner. He got all the stats you want, sadly not much potential.

Adilson will slowly learn the F9 role and will take over at some point.

With O'Brien we got our 5th player from England. Weirdly he only wanted a loan to us. But we got a nice cheap clause for him.

And Cruz already mentioned, he is a decent backup with all the stats you want as AF.

Yep, just plug n play.

Combined with the fact that I was able to buy players for roughly 100 mio, which fits the roles...I would slowly say this one is broken.

I reminds me FM 18/19, where you broke the game with 3 ATB and 3 striker or SS.

Exactly like the overlap, but in reverse.

A player is holding the ball and its lookin for a players, who does a unlapping run.

Its mostly the widest player, but it can also happen in the middle.

Everybody is cuttin inside, which means we overload this middle of the field.

We counter this a bit with player "wide" so there is always room for that.

We won La Liga 2 by a landslide and somehow won the Copa del Rey.

We added the 7th LaLiga 2 title to the honours.

We basicly bought a mid-table La Liga side and with a good form, we can play for the Euro spots.

Rough year for Venezia.

Once I saw the next coach, a no name with terrible stats and 3 ATB anti-football, I knew this would be a hard year for them.

 

Hopefully they can get decent coach and get back up there.

Once again Bristol City is best of the rest.

 

They also got once again in the FA Cup final, this time they lost to City.

Bristol City won the Champion League in the year 2030!

My alter ego Marcos Ferreira was watching this triumph live and saw his boys win the big one.

Once again Leonel Araujo was the key man.
