Question: Fourth Substitution in Spain?

I'm playing in Spain's third division, and I noticed that in some league matches I can make a fourth sub during the match, sometimes not. I'm confused.

Would anyone know what's the rule here? Thanks in advance.

It should be explained via the 'rules' panel under 'Competitions' for that specific competition.

If it's anything like other leagues, you're allowed to make a certain number of changes, but with limitations on how many times you can stop the game to make said changes. Some leagues it's 5 changes but only 3 stoppages - not 100% sure for that league off the top of my head.

Good call. It reads "5 from 12 (max of 3 stoppages)". Wow! So, I can sub 5 players along three times?!  Incredible.... Thanks.

I also think half time doesn't count as a stoppage. So you might have 3 stops outside that. But don't quote me on it, if I'm wrong!

Thanks. I'm now sub'ing 2, 2 and 1 (unless odd incidents happen). Interesting new strategies come up: you gain fresh energy but may lose in team cohesion. Interesting....
