I've been trying to create either 4231 or 433 tactics using the Red Bull philosophy recently and I've been quite confused on how a 4231 set up would work. I know that usually the formation is either a 422 or a 4222. From my research it seems like there is usually an AF and then some other supporting striker that helps bring other players into the attacking phase and passing it forward to the AF but what role do you think that could help with as a CAM. I've been tinkering with either a SS or an AP. Is there any resources online or tactics that I can use to help? What do you guys think and have you guys tried it out yourself?
