Midseason update

We're comfortably in the league in Ligue 1. 9 points ahead of Lyon.

In a tough group we ended up second to Manchester City and got the reigning CWC winners Dortmund in the first knockout round.

Bogey Team

Looks like Dortmund is our bogey team. After loosing the CWC to them we draw them in the first knockout round.

After loosing 1-0 at home we try to make a huge comeback after being 3-0 down after 20 minutes. We didn't succeed.

Cup win

With the french championship secured, we met Lille in the French cup final.

MC Gabriel gets send off in the 27th minute.

We still dominate Lille and have 3 times as many chances as them.

It looked like the script was written for a cup defeat on penalties. But we came through!

2037/38 Season Review - PSG

A pretty mediocre season

League: Win! - Cup: Win! - ChL: 1st KO - CWC: RunnerUp - SC: Win! - ESC: Win!

Key players:

DL Arena - AML Arregui - AMC SchmidtAMR Nordh

Overview:

SquadCompetitions - Finances - Transfers

2038/39 Preview

We need to get younger and get a couple of players in at key players.

I have confidence in most places, but I have identified a couple of positions and players.

I'd like to find a new DL as Arenas is getting a bit old. Besides that I'd like a new CB and I have my sights on a new ST and MC if the price is right.

Getting ready for the new season

We bring in a bunch of youngsters for the next couple of years.

Our biggest signings for this season are:

D RC Ramirez - Supposed to provide depth at CB and potentially replace Brink.

D RC Huber - Backup to Qvist and incredible skill at his age

DL Aitor - Clearly our biggest signing. Arenas has been great but he's 32. Aitor is 25 and already at a higher level.

This means however. That we didn't get the new MC and ST we wanted.

ST Turner will be a good addition returning from St. Etienne.

Champions League Final 2039 Preview

Paris SG v Milan (at Principality Stadium)

PSG Season:

Coming off an invincibles season in Ligue 1 and with a cup and super cup win to boot.

A solid allround team. Known for a direct passing game based on speed and tecnique.

Will be without centrepiece AMC Schmidt and Rojas are just returning from injury and will probably play sparingly.

Stars: DL Aitor - MC Soumah - AML Nordh

PSG Road to the final:

Group stage: 1st (Manchester United, Gladbach & PSV) - Knockout: Atletico Madrid, Lyon & Manchester City

Milan Season:

Won the serie A 3 points in front of Juventus. Was knocked out in the quarterfinal of the cup to Lazio. Beat Napoli in the supercoppa.

Milan Team:

A team looking to control the game and play defensively solid football

Will be without DL Roberto but are pretty much healthy.

Stars: MC Borja - MC Gianussa - ST Liberio

Milan Road to the final:

Group Stage: 1st (Chelsea, PAOK & Shakthar) - Knockout: Manchester United, Napoli & Barcelona

Champions League Final

THE GAME

1st half

28: A long ball gets taken down by ST Liberio just outside the area. He smashes it into the top corner. 1-0 Milan!

38: ST Rojas takes off just from the middle of the field. Sprints past defenders and the GK... 1-1! ... Wait .. It's disallowed.. He's offside! Very thin offside.

41: ST Liberio is free around the penalty spot and shoots toward the bottom corner. Fantastic save by Coulibaly.

HALFTIME

MIlan are playing well. We'll make some adjustments and try to close down more on their midfield to cut the supplies to Liberio

2nd half

48: Kasunic sends in a free kick and Batista is unmarked. 2-0!

56: We've dominated possesion on the Milan half after the break. A cross from DR Qvist lands at the feet of Rojas.... 1-2! We're back in it!

62: ST Rojas are in the clear.... It's a sitter.... But he fires it wide... Horrible!

66: ST Liberio strikes the ball out of nowhere but GK Coulibaly makes a fine save!

66: On the corner following the save our team breaks down and ST Liberio is there once again.... 3-1!

72: Assuncao subbed in at AML pulls in from the flank and slots it into the far bottom corner... 3-2!

78: Kasunic once again sends in a free kick to Battista. This time Coulibaly saves.

93: We invest men forward as Milan hit us on the counter. We stop them and counter back. ST Rojas firs at goal..... Post... Still 3-2!

Game end

It all ends 3-2 to the italians.

A great game for the viewers... Milan was great. Fair play to them!

2038/39 Season Review - PSG

A brilliant season if it weren't for that final loss in the Champions League

League: Win! - Cup: Win! - ChL: Runner Up - SC: Win!

Key players:

DL Aitor - AML Arregui - AMR Nordh

Overview:

SquadCompetitions - Finances - Transfers

2039/40 Preview

What's next?

The finances aren't looking good and we need to sell players to buy players.

OUr squad at this time is pretty good and we have a bunch of youngsters coming through.

Let's see where it goes.... I'm a bit unsettled at the moment. If the right clubs calls...

Selling team?

With next to no transfer budget we free up some capital by selling CM Faber.

We have just signed  capable replacement in MC Escudero.

I'm not sure this is the best option right now, but buying Escudero for 14 million and selling Faber for 175 is great for the finances.

An early exit

After a disappointing loss in Spain we can't break down Atletico at home.

We hit the woodwork an incredible 3 times but couldn't finish it.

Once again an early exit in the Champions League...

Decision Time

After my champions league win in the first season I've had three seasons without succes in the Champions League.

I'll finish the season and think hard about my future at the club.

I'll probably leave at the end of the season.

2040/41 Preview

This was my final year at PSG

Although I'm not happy to leave behind many of my new youngsters, I can't accept the failures in the Champions League.

On to a new adventure.... Let's see where this goes!

Could this be the opening?

Juventus finished 5th in the league and haven't won it in 5 years. This would be the perfect time for me to declare my interest while Igor Tudor's seat is hot.

Are we there yet?

It looks like Tudor is safe for another season.

Manchester City come calling and offer me a 3 year contract.

They're the biggest team in England, but in 2040 they're still hunting their first Champions League Trophy.

I like their team but I decide this isn't the right fit for me.

Next stop

I spent a year away from football without many openings that interested me.

I find a project I find interesting.

It just happens to be one of the best clubs in the world. Their squad needs an overhaul and It'll probably take a couple of years.

We do have some decent pieces in place and a healthy budget though!

At 176cm and 71cm? Is he like the next Canavaro?

I need one of my CB's to have extraordinary speed as I normally play with a high line :-) .. I couldn't find the right fit for CB so I got Gazzola. CB today, RB tomorrow? :-)

4-4-2?! Barcelona playing a 4-4-2?!

Danilo Bandini has turned to a classic formation at the start of his career at Barcelona.

I've played a number of formations. If I don't have the personel to play a certain way I'll change it to fit the players. It's only a number. Our 4-4-2 play much more like a 4-2-4! Bandini told Marca.

Bandini has become known for his tactical flexibility thoughout his career. Now he has Barcelona playing a 4-4-2...

A brief overview of his Tactics:

Petrzalka: 4-3-3 DM Wide

Sered: 4-4-2

Valur: 4-2-3-1 Narrow

Fehervar: 4-3-3 Flat Midfield

FCK: 4-4-2 Narrow Diamon

PSG: 4-2-3-1
