So close

Roma's 5-2-2-1 was difficult to handle this time around.

We put in a good fight and on a great second half of the second leg we clawed back into it.

Only to be denied on penalties...

So close!

I didn’t think it was possible to draw the same team as in your group in the 2nd round.

Also didn’t help selling a couple of players (if it was before the tie).

Good to see improvements in infrastructure, and the board agreeing to them.

And a contract for a star player signed? :lock:
Nice bunch of updates

The group winner sits out the first knockout round and enters in the 2nd :-)

Tough season!

Let me guess, your playing Ferencvaros.

Good luck :)

Not excactly. We're up against Debrecen who are battling relegation. Ferencvaros are battling ZTE in 4th with nothing to play for.

2033/34 Season Review - Fehervar

Another pretty good season from us.

We scored a record 78 goals in the league and claimed another title on goal difference.

Our adventure in Europa League was exciting. Undeafeated through the group stage and ending in a brutal penalty loss to Roma

League: Win! - Cup: QF EL: 2nd KO

Key players:

DC Restrepo - MC Van Assema - AML Soto - ST Ciric

Overview:

SquadCompetitions - Finances - Transfers

2034/35 Preview

With the money earned in europe we invested in new training and youth facilities and set the foundation for our continued succes.

Another title and another run in europe would be nice.

I have to do better in the cup though!

I might consider making the jump if the right opportunity arises.

League changes

Success +4 (League win, MOTY, European Qual)

Leagues removed: Switzerland, Croatia, Czech Republic, Serbia

Leagues added: Scotland, Austria, Belgium, Russia

Time to move on

An opportunity arises and I need to grab it.

I get a call from a big club in a bigger league. 22 Championships, 19 cup wins.

It's time to move on from Fehervar. Hungary brought me much joy!

Let's hope the next trip brings me just as much.

HALL OF FAME - FEHERVAR

AML Ronaldo Soto

Ultimate big time player. Was named the 3rd best player in the Europa League in our run.

ST Darko Ciric

The difference between winning and loosing. 36 and 29 goals in his two season here.

FC København - Danish Superliga

Danish champion in 7 of the last 10 years. They just finished 4th which is a tie of their lowest the last 15 years.

While my transfer budget is a bit lower at £10 million our wage budget is trebled at £450.000 a week.

They have good mixture of youth and veterans and the star is ST Couto

I still need to revamp the squad to fit my playstyle though. I could target a lot of my old players at Fehervar. Many are 19-20 and ready to move on.

Let's get it on!

Midseason update

It was clear before the season started that we didn't have the depth to compete in europe and still be in contention in the league.

This season we sacrifised europe to stay in contention in the league. We crashed out with 3 points in a tough group with Hertha, Atalanta and CSKA Moscow.

We've been performing pretty well in the league and is currently 2nd after 18 games. 3 points after league leaders AaB.

In the periods without fixture congestion we've been playing well, but the european games wore us down.

Our key signing so far has been DMC Alujas, but he hasn't performed as expected yet.

@Sonic Youth The league consists of 22 games and then the league is split in two. You then play the other 5 teams in your group home and away. 32 games in total. 100% of our points are carried into the championship group.

Alujas has a basic knowledge of the language. Let's hope this elevates his game when he gets better.

Pedersen on Europa League dream team

Even though we failed in advancing from the group stage in the Europa League one of our players got some recognision.

Tottenham beat Chelsea 2-0 in the final and they combined for 9 of the 11 players on the dream team.

Simon Pedersens 8 goals in 8 games was enough to secure him a place. He was a one-man army with his 4 goals against Atalanta in which we lost 4-5.

He also won the golden boot.

2034/35 Season Review - FC København

The first season in Denmark was a pretty succesful one.

We didn't have the squad depth to compete on two fronts and focused on the league.

ST Couto is a beast for the danish league. Our goal is to sell him for 35-40 million pounds.

League: Win! - Cup: SF EL: Group

Key players:

DR Andreasen - AMC Kjærgaard - ST Couto

Overview:

SquadCompetitions - Finances - Transfers

2035/36 Preview

Hopefully we can sell Couto for a big amount and offload some of our less useful players.

We're currently making the squad a bit younger and are keying on youth to bring us soem profit in the long run.

Another championship and maybe a cup win. Champions League will be tough.

League changes

Success +3 (League win, European Qual)

Leagues removed: Hungary, Turkey, Ukraine

Leagues added: Holland, Portugal, France

(Fehervar repeats as Hungarian champs)

MC Machacek - Ferhervar - £3 million - Yep a former Ferhervar player!

Tough group

PSG and Liverpool have combined for 8 of the last 12 Champions Leagues.

Olympiacos should give us a chance to qualify for Europa League.

This year we have the team to at least compete in both.

Nice sale

And start.

Tough Champs group though! Good chance both Liverpool and PSG each making the final from your group.

Clean sweep in Denmark this season with your upgraded squad? Let’s see :lock:

Champions League fever?

A disppointment in the first game with a draw against Olympiacos away.

In the first game we drew 0-0 against Liverpool at home.

PSG gave us a beating in Paris, but when their visited us we played incredible and won 1-0!

We're still in it! If we can draw against Liverpool we might be able to snatch 2nd.

We're in a good position to end 3rd.

Advancing in europe

A draw against Olympiakos meant Liverpool and us were tied for second with 6 point.

We travel to Anfield and..... Get hammered... 5-0.

Paris took the win in Greece and we took 3rd.

Getting hot at the right time again

Once again we start the spring season strong and in in a fortnite we qualify for the cup final and get a win against number 2 and 3 in the league.

This means we have a gap of 4 points with 6 games to go. Let's do this.

Getting a third double will complete the Sven Göran Ericsson special with doubles in 3 countries.

Cup failure

So close to the double and then we throw the cup final away after a bad display.

We probably knew it wasn't our day already in the 2nd minute when our GK Rogerinho saved the ball onto the crossbar only for it to bounce back into his neck and into the neck.

Title repeat!

We had a lead of 6 points with two games to go.

We loose to Brøndby and the gap is down to 3 points.

We go down 2-0 in the 38th minute.

Luckily we turn it around and ST De Backer scores his last of his 24 campaign goals to draw and we were safe.

FC Midtjylland didn't succed against AaB and the championship was safe all along

2035/36 Season Review - PSG

We managed to snatch 3rd in the champions league after keeping ourselves alive to go through till the final game against Liverpool.

The Cup loss was horrible, but we bounced back to win the league.

ST De Backer took over from Couto and scored 27 goals.

Our defense took a notch up in quality after we signed DC Montiel in the winter window.

League: Win! - Cup: Runner-Up ChL: 3rd in Group - EL:

Key players:

MC Machacek - AMC Anjos - ST De Backer

Overview:

SquadCompetitions - Finances - Transfers

2036/37 Preview

We have a decent core on the team. I'd like to strengthen the squad in defense and get some depth in from midfield and up.

We have a bunch of talented youngsters returning from loan, including ST Petreski who was the topscorer in Ligue 2.

Our finances are good after we ended the season with a £35 million profit.

League changes

Success +4 (League win, European Qual, MOTY)

Leagues removed: Scotland, Austria, Belgium, Russia

Leagues added: Germany, Italy, Spain, England

That means we've added the most reputable eagues in europe. Let's see when they come calling!

An offer too good to refuse

In 34/35 we bought ST Morales for £350.000

After 1½ season he's played 30 league games. Scored 0(!!) goals and had only 4 assists.

I just accepted two offer for him for £7 million +

How did that happen?!

Time to move on

While starting the new season the phone rings....

I don't even consider staying at FC København.

I think I leave FCK in good position. We're currently first in the league after two games with a 8-0 goal difference. Trying to win their 3rd consecutive championship.

We have a wellrounded squad besides AMC where Barcelona just bought Anjos.

They have £65 million in transfer budget and £300.000 a week in wage budget. £98 million in the bank.

Paris Saint-Germain - Ligue 1

The club who called me was the most reputable club in the world. PSG just said goodbye to Zinedine Zidane.

They were impressed with how I masterminded a win against them in the Champions League.

The team is currently over the wage budget but still has a transfer kitty of £168 million.

The team need an overhaul as only 2 players in the starting eleven is under 25.

Needles to say I earn a lot more at PSG!

Wait, Anjos went to Barcelona? Screening and for how much please :)

PSG were definitely not the level of club I thought you’d target next. Looks like they went for a young up-and-coming manager!

What did the players and fans have to say about you?

Link to post

@Sonic Youth  AMC Anjos went to Barcelona for £19,5 million which met his release clause.

Fans weren't happy. Zidane who's by far the best manager in history just left.

Zidane exploits since save start:

7 x Champions Leagues + 4 European Super Cups + 4 x Club World championships

6 x Ligue 1 + 6 x Coupe de france + 6 x Trophee des champions

9 x La Liga + 7 x Copa Del Rey + 7 Supercoppa

Another title win

With 5 games to go we win the championship.

We had an awesome campaign and have won 31 of 35 games.

We're in the semifinal in the Champions League and are in the final of the cup. This could be a magical start to my french adventure.

Champions League Final Preview

Paris SG v Real Madrid (at Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadyumu)

PSG Season:

Coming off a great domestic campaign. They won the domestic double after winning the league 22 points in front of Marseille.

PSG Team:

The team is solid at the back and their attacking midfielder trio of AMR NordhAMC Schmidt and AML Arregui are the stars of the team.

Unsung hero is DL Arena

PSG Road to the final:

PSG won Group A in front of Leverkusen, Liverpool and Valencia.

In the knockout stages they've beat PSV, Juventus and Napoli. Especially the 7-2 aggregate win over Napoli was impressive.

Real Madrid Season:

Real ended 2nd in La Liga, 5 points after Barcelona. They suffered a shock defeat to Osasuna in the 4th round of Copa del Rey and manager Pochettino probably needs a win to keep the job.

Real Madrid Team:

As earlier versions of Real the team is looking to control possesion and retain the ball.

They're very solid in the middle of the park with MC Fernandes and MC Jacobo while they rely on ST Costa to bang it in.

Unsung hero is DC Gil

Real Madrid Road to the final:

Won group G in front of Chelsea, PSV and Dynamo Kiev.

In the knockout stages they knocked out Basel, Porto and Liverpool.

The semifinal against Liverpool went down to the wire and both games ended 0-0. One minute into extra time sub AML Verhaegen decided the game.

Champions League Final

eostvUh.jpg

THE GAME

1st half

24: (PSG) AML Arregui sends in a free kick but DC Brink heads it well over the bar.

HALFTIME

A pretty uneventful first half. Real Madrids 4-1-4-1 is difficult to break down. Madrid has a lot of possesion, but mostly in their own half.

OMkbA9p.jpg

2nd half

50: (PSG) ST Assuncao and AMR Nordh combines on the flank and Nordh sends in a cross but AML Arregui heads it just over the bar

60: (PSG) Arregui sends in a deep free kick, DC Brink heads it across for Nordh who hits the back of the net with a volley... 1-0!

62: (PSG) Arregui driblles past 3 defenders and is clear on goal. He misses from a tight angle as GK Onslow saves for a corner.

72: (RMA) Madrid has their first shot on target as DL Saraiva finishes from the edge of the area. An easy save for GK Nagy

86: (PSG) MC Danilo sends in a cross and Sub AML Banega hits a powerful shot at goal.... 2-0!

93: (PSG) Sub ST Haaland who's retiring at the end of the season is in the clear and slots it home 3-0! A fitting end to an incredible career!

94: (PSG) We hit Madrid on the counter. Haaland crosses and Nordh is clear on the back post... 4-0!

2036/37 Season Review - PSG

PSG took a chance on me. And I repayed the faith. We strolled to a championship and could focus on europe.

We looked comfortable throughout the competition.

Win in all competitions besides the domestic super cup which was Zidane's last game.

League: Win! - Cup: Win! - ChL: Win!

Key players:

DL Arena - AML Arregui - AMC SchmidtAMR Nordh

Overview:

SquadCompetitions - Finances - Transfers

2037/38 Preview

Well a simple repeat would be great!

We're trying to get the squad a bit younger. 9 of our core team of 15-16 players are 28 or above.

We need to bring in some young wonderkids to challenge the old guys!

League changes

Success +6 (League win, Cup win, ChL win, European Qual, MOTY)

Leagues removed: Denmark (To speed up the game a bit)
