Transfers going through next year, why?

am I missing something? I’ve signed some players just before the opening of the 2021 transfer window. All agreed and the contract length all say start date jul 2021.

but on the transfer screen they all say start date 1/1/2022. Why is this? Anyone?

How old are the players? Players under 18 are not eligible to be transferred in many cases.

Various ages but most over 18. Says all joining 1/1/2022 and I’m in the summer transfer window

I had the issue where any player I tried to sign it said they would arrived the following summer, I restarted the game and the issue was fixed. I am not sure how it would impact completed transfers however.

I may have don’t something within negotiations but I don’t know what

The issue I had was it would not allow me to register players until January so it seems different to yours.
