It's been a great start to our new season as we book a place in the 2nd Knockout Round of the Europa League with a great performance away in Belgium against Club Brugge and then got the job done at home with a draw. We play another Belgian side next round in Standard Liege. We won our first silverware of the season as we collected the Kazakhstan Super Cup, in a one sided affair and we have got our Premier League campaign off to the best possible start with a demolition of Zhetsyu on opening day.

This month the Europa League and league continued. In Europe we were phenomenal as we destroyed Standard Liege 8-0 at home and then 2-0 away to complete a pretty historic 10-0 aggregate win. This now puts us through to the Quarter Final of the Europa League, which as far as we got with Qarabag, so I am very happy to be back and we will be playing Russian titans and well known team to me CSKA Moscow. In the league we have racked up the wins to make it 5 wins out of 5 and top the league at this early stage.

FK Astana - Transfer Window

A transfer window which was really about trying to get Kazakh's which were as good or close to foreign players and then trying to get better foriegn players in key positions. So that is why we let Napoli go as Adel is a better prospect in his position, although he has broken his foot, so we will be without him for a while. Having a foreign goalkeeper, just was a bit frivolous so we let Kouassi go and got in a good Kazakh keeper in Iakolev, and Karovkin was another good Kazakh who will add a lot of depth. Besic left last season after the window closed, so we had a spare spot in the foreigner quota and so brough young Serbian Rajkovic, who is third choice striker but has a very high potential according to the scouts.

Victor Korovkin

Dalibor Rajkovic

April is a long month in Kazakhstan, especially when you are still involved in European football. In the Europa League we faced CSKA Moscow in the Quarter Final and after a 0-0 draw out in Russia we took them apart back in Nur Sultan, as we won 6-0 to advance to the semi final, where we drew an old enemy from my Qarabag days Chelsea. The first leg was played in Kazakhstan and it ended 0-0. It probably gives Chelsea a slight advantage but to away goals could really play into our hands if we can just avoid defeat. In the league we are still top of the league but we did lose to Taraz away which was our first loss for a long time domestically. Still everything is going very well.

I am extremely proud of my side this month as we got past Chelsea with a superb away performance against Chelsea to reach the Europa League Final, a huge achievement for a club like Astana. On a wet evening in Dortmund, we were not able to overcome Arsenal and they lifted the Europa League, but I am so proud of this campaign, a shame it ended with a runners up medal but the scale of the achievement cannot be understated. The league was a second priority for me in month but we still did extremely well and have opened up a lead of 11 points at the top of the league.

A long month as our Champions League campaign started, and so far so good as we get past Vikingur Gota and Olympiakos. In the next round we have been drawn against Hungarian side Ferencvaros, I think we should have too much for them. In the league we are looking set to retain the title again as we move 22 points clear in the league.

One big addition in Hidalgo, who looks a top striker for this league and will improve a lot, we drop Diarrasouba from registration and are working on selling him as Hidalgo should provide that extra cutting edge for us.

The Champions League is main feature this month, and we did very well, getting a creditable draw at home against Real Madrid and then even better going to Rome and getting the away 1-0 win against Roma, to currently put us in 2nd place in the group. I am not sure we can make it through the group, but I would love to be in the Europa League again if it is not possible to go through.

The league season has ended, but the race for the title was long over. So the main focus continued to be the Champions League, and this month there was only one game, as we hosted Liverpool, unfortunately for us they were too strong for us and got a 2-0 win. We are still in a good position to get that third spot, which realistically is what we are aiming for. It may come down to the home tie against Roma to decide it.

Visits to Anfield and the Bernabeu yielded what I expected which were losses, but in fairness we gave both of them a game and on another night we might have got something out of either game. Unfortunately for us Roma won both their games, which means we will need to beat Roma to get into the Europa League qualification spot. We are out of the Champions League but any of the other three can still make it to the knockout rounds.

An incredible performance sees us take the Europa League spot and deny Roma a place in the Last 16 of the Champions League. Liverpool beat Real Madrid on the final day to win the group and Real Madrid go through in 2nd place. Very happy to at least get European football at the start of next season.

This is an awesome save you're been on! I'm curious to know which DBs did you have for all countries you played or planning to play in your Grand Tour?

Cheers,

Rak

The ones of the steam workshop didn't work for some reason, so I got the ones that Riddler did for FM 19.3.0, which I think are literally just updates of Classen's dbs for the new patch. Then I also downloaded the E22 - English divisions and the Canadian megapatch from the Steam Workshop. In terms of where it is going, the rules are on the front page and I have posted a map when I move clubs. In theory the whole world....In...Theory...

Ahh, cool! I'm planning to try your theory with FM20 and the megapack with Tino just to see how it goes, I'm sure it would be different because he has UAE and other countries that's not in your FM DBs for FM19. I wish you all the best in trying to succeed in doing the whole world :)

The season has returned in earnest, first with the 2nd Knockout Round of the Europa League where we pretty easily beat Danish FC Copenhagen over two legs. Then we won the super cup for the second season in a row. As mentioned the Kazakh cup is bugged and only 2nd Division sides can win it, so the super cup is never really a contest. In the first game of the league season we absolutely battered FK Aktobe 8-0 which sends out a real statement to anyone thinking of challenging us this season.

It's been quite possible the best month we have had as manager of Astana, as we drew Barcelona in the Europa League 2nd Knockout Round, I made peace with the fact that we were going out, but somehow through sheer perseverance we managed to shock Barcelona in Kazakhstan winning 1-0. This would have been good enough for me, as I expected to get well beaten in the Nou Camp, but it never happened as we stayed in the game and managed to get 2 away goals and despite losing on the night we advance on away goals. A sensational performance and we are through to the quarter finals where we will face Schalke. In the league we have won all our games which makes it 5 wins from 5 for the season and we sit 2nd behind Atyrau who has played one more game and has one more point that us.

It's been an amazing month, the score against Schalke was utterly amazing, despite losing 1-0 in Germany, we turned it around back at home winning 7-0, one of the greatest European performances of all time. We have it all to do in Europa League as we lost the first leg in Dortmund 5-2, we are not totally out of it, but it will be very difficult to come back. We are in 2nd place in the league, 1 point behind Atyrau who have played one more game than us.

May ended our Europa League hopes as Borussia Dortmund came to Kazakhstan but we were unable to get the better of them and the game finished 2-2 and 7-4 on aggregate to them. In the league however we have been very good, although we did suffer a defeat in the middle of the month, it has not stopped us opening up a 5 point lead in the league.

Two more wins and the lead at the top of the league is still 4 points. This month we found out that our European exploits (Europa League final followed by a semi final) had hugely improved Kazakh coefficients. We are now the 10th best league in Europe, which is a pretty amazing rise up the rankings.

Our improved coefficient now means we do not need to qualify to reach the Group stages of the Champions League. We have drawn another hard group with Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Partizan Belgrade. The main target is 3rd place, but I wonder whether we can challenge Chelsea, considering we knocked them out of the Europa League last season. In the league it was four more wins and the 3rd title in a row is imminent.

The league season has finished in Kazakhstan and we have finished up with a huge points total of 96 points, some 26 points ahead of second placed Atyrau. In the Champions League we only had one game this month, but what a game and what a performance as we went to Stamford Bridge and battered Chelsea 3-0. We are becoming a proper dark horse in European football, no one would want to play us.

A month without scoring a goal for us, but the calibre of the opposition would tell the story. The 2-0 loss to Chelsea, saw them reverse the result that we achieved in London, but the draw with Bayern keeps us in the fight for Champions League group qualification and the equation is a simple one for us. We must beat Partizan Belgrade who have yet to get a point in the group stage and Chelsea must lose to Bayern Munich. If this set of events occurs we will leapfrog them into second place and will qualify for the Knockout Rounds of the Champions League.

Our hugely impressive victory in the final group game against Partizan Belgrade was not enough to get through to the next round as Chelsea managed to get a draw against Bayern Munich in Munich, but we will be in the later stages of the Europa League again for another year. That ends our third season in Kazakhstan, and next season is our final one. It would be amazing to be able to get to another Europa League final to really cement our legacy not just domestically but in European football with Astana.

Preparation for the new season, starts almost as soon as the last season ends and we start with a few friendlies against lower league Kazakh sides which we win. The draw for the Europa League has seen us paired with Schalke again this year. We knocked them out 7-1 on aggregate last year.

So Did You Download UEFA Revival And Editing A File So You Can Avoid Format Of 2021-2024

I am little confused. I have never noticed a difference in FM 19 in the UEFA Europa League changing format in past save games, only for the Qatar World Cup because of the scheduling of the tournament being in Winter. Are you talking about the change in format in FM 2020, where the Europa League is split with Europa League Conference? I did not download any specific dbs that changes the European competitions that I know of.

The idea will be to go to Portugal, as they are on the tour, but they are way down the line...and I do mean a very long time down the line. But yeah when we get to Portugal we will have a look at the situation and pick a good team to bring. By the time we get there Benfica, Porto and Sporting may not even be the most dominant forces in Portuguese football possibly.

Competitive games were back in February, and our tie against Schalke, went pretty much like it did the year before. They managed to get the narrow 1-0 win at home but we slapped them back at our place 6-0 to win 6-1. In the next round we have been drawn against last year's Europa League runner's up St Etienne. So that will be a tough tie. Also this month we captured the Super Cup for the third time in a row against Aktobe. I have no real idea as to why they were involved in the competition and we were not. I am unsure if this season the Kazakhstan Cup bug has resolved itself, or whether the competition actually in real life might exclude some teams, perhaps those involved in European football, but I am none the wiser, either way we take the Super Cup again.

St Etienne did not really cause us too many issues and the tie was decided mostly in Kazakhstan, we just had to avoid a disaster in France and we managed to do that, despite losing on the night 3-2, we went through 6-3. The draw for the Quarter Final has been conducted and we will face a former side of ours and arguably where we arrived to the attention of the world media, in Krasnodar of Russia. I certainly hope we can get past them and we will be back in another semi final. The league season has started again this season and we sit top on a perfect record to start the season.

FK Astana - Transfer Window

A single move in the transfer market for us and that was to bring in a Kazakh player at right wing as Kasharin is now 33 years old and he is in a slow decline so we needed to get in the best replacement we could. In the end we got in a 32 year old so not really a long term solution (but he seems to have held up his ability a little better), but then there wasn't a long term solution that would not at this current time reduce the quality of the squad so our hands were tied and we paid a fair bit of money for Kairalliev

We managed to get to another Europa League semi final this month, with a draw away in Russia and then again like we have relied upon so much this and other season, we smashed Krasnodar at hom 6-2, to advance on aggregate 7-3. The draw for the semi finals has Arsenal facing rivals Tottenham Hotspur, while we got Valencia, and with a 2-1 win in the first leg in Spain, we look great value to get to another Europa League final for the second time in three years. In the league we have already opened up a 6 point gap with a game in hand, that looks to be very much in hand for another title victory at this stage, although we did drop our first points in the league in the final league game of the month.

This month was the culmination of the Europa League, and we managed to get to the final again thanks to a draw in the 2nd leg against Valencia, which provided us a 3-2 aggregate win. In the final we would face Arsenal, just like two years previous as they had gotten through North London rivals Tottenham on away goals. Unfortunately for us the result was much the same, as we went out to the Ibrox Stadium, in Glasgow, Scotland where this time we lost 2-1. We did lead the game 1-0 mid way through the second half but two quickfire goals from Arsenal gave them the victory and the trophy and we had fallen at the final hurdle again. In the league we have extended our lead now to 16 points, which really means that our remaining time in Kazakhstan now, is to get to the end of the league season and win another title, which should be academic and help the club do as well as possible in the first half of the European campaign which is to come in the second half of the season.

Hey, I like that map definitely, so I'm willing to have it, you can attach the file to me or pm me the map. I started out at Seychelles, so obviously for me I need to go to Madagascar first in order to do Mauritius and Reunion first before going to Africa.
