jimbo22
Add as many leagues until you get around 2 1/2 star game speed This, I have a mid 2012 MBP with 16GB and when I play I usually have England, Scotland, Spain, Italy, France, Holland, Germany and Belgium. Use a large database and have never really had an issue with speed. Ive always been happy with how quickly it works on this size of game world. EDIT... Mine in the i5 2.5 GHz so gives you an idea of what you have.
RTHerringbone
It will vary massively from configuration to configuration. I've got a new MBPRetina with an i7 and 16GB RAM and am comfortably running around 40,000 players in FMC on a medium database with about 8 nations loaded. I think that was regarded as 3.5* performance. Best way to find out is to load what you want and see how it goes.
