Wizard boy
Has anyone done this because I got myself a 55 inch sony led tv and wondered what it would be like? I did hook pc up when I first got tv to see what desktop would be like and it was basically same as my monitor only bigger obviously. I ask because I didn't want to be connecting it all up and finding out fm looks bad.
Sikker
I haven't tried to play on a big screen, but if your desktop shows fine on your new big screen then what hinders you from starting up FM and see for yourself? If you got a HDMI cabel then that's all you need...
themoffster
You can mirror your desktop into an Apple TV. I did it once with my 42 incher (oo-err) but some of the font is a bit small from normal tv viewing distance
ZJordan
HDMI Cable is all you really need, once I did watch an entire fm match (Champions League final alright... it was special )
upsettingshorts
For a while I was setup in my living room, only difference is I had to set a larger font in the interface settings because default was slightly too hard to read from my couch.
ozzyoscy
Playing on a big screen is nice because things are clearer and bigger, especially as I imagine the newer FMs have even smaller fonts and icons (given computers' fetish for making fonts and icons smaller and smaller each year so the screen looks tidier and spacious). However, it's not exactly a game you need a big screen to increase your enjoyment really. That's for the games with the graphics and the kaboom and the peeyoing and MMHEY.
