Managed to stay up easily in the end, Belly said that thats the highest relegation total for some while. Massive problems all over the shop. Massive debt, ****ing **** players on outrageous wages for a club this size (Rodwell 115k Dzagoev 115k) 2mil wasted every month for the next 2 years and no-one will even pick them up for free or loan!!!!. 15mil each to clear contracts and I have not got that money. Ive sold nearly all the players that other clubs would buy, whether they be good or not, and managed to put a team together( maybe not a winning team) that can hopefully stay up. I have signed some decent frees, not outstanding but most of them will do a job until I can actually afford to buy players. Thanks to davie for completely shafting this club, but if I do get relegated at least I can pick a better club with better standing and financial state. Here is my predicted transfer budgets for the next 3 years.... But its not all doom and gloom. We have had a good season so far despite spending hardly anything. I bought a dc for 8mil who I plan to sell for profit at the end of this season. fixtures so far as we sit a nice 13th far away (9 pts) from the relegation zone. My main player has been Cuntz who I got for free and again plan to sell in the summer as the financial situation is so dire Everyone else so far this season seems to be really underachieving considering the clubs/teams that they have got or built although there is still time to rectify this. SeanBhoy88 Posted April 18, 2014 Share Posted April 18, 2014 Sean Palace : Frustrating / poor start we all have them from time to time couldn't find anyone I wanted to fit into my system pre season and wound up not getting in any cover my board then went on to take all my money off me and my wages that sucked big time and we have had from day one at least 5 to 9 men out this is really frustrating playing games with 3-4 men out of position having to use under 18s who are no were near ready morale has also gone thus and I face an uphill struggle next week to keep up with my goals..... All is certainly not lost but at the moment its not to good either .... Horrid start to the campaign so many injuries so much problems within the team it was very hard to get past that we managed to kick on and make a go of things to then stumble through another very random difficult period with injuries and morale ... all In all I will say this season was not a success however I am happy we managed to battle into the top 4 ahead of any other member We were beaten in the champions league semi final by Bayern munich in a tie wich could of went either way I lost 5-4 on aggregate and if not for a collection of horrible misses It could of easily been a champions league final for me ... I was beaten in the FA CUP final by mike got a total random sending off in the first half my best CB by a mile off for diving apparently just complete madness the game was still an even match but mike scored a corner in extra time I tried to fight back and change things but was dealt another injury blow wich put me down to 9 men not a lot I could of done just the icing on the cake to a rather disappointing and gutting season . We will go again I am however worried about the state of our financies and given what I have done for the club and the fact I have sold more than bought in my time here I am a bit baffled by it to say the least .... so many negatives but I will defonetly give it my all next year I will wheel and deal and go again !!! Managed to stabilise the squad and bring the debts under control but on the pitch its been surprisingly poor. 10 games without a win before we win 2 in a row. We finish with a 3rd win and climb out of the zone. Performances and results are on the up so I should be hopeful although we are conceding a shed load of goals. I was actually 17th job on the line two board meetings words cannot articulate the strain I was feeling .... Started selling folks with some good replacements lined up .... Didn't relise I was getting so little of transfer deals into my kitty wich was a rookie and very key mistake as I wound up having to sell more people than I wanted to .... we started the campaign really weird to be honest 2-3 goals offside or ruled out per game losing or drawing to teams who just had one shot on goal the full 90 mins missed penalities injuries basicly everything that could go wrong went wrong and it was very straining .... I slipped down to 17th and I feared the team I had worked so hard to build all these years was about to be lost...... Managed to make somewhat of a late revival winning 5 games in a row ..... showing some character and spine what I need to do is go away and put some good work into tactic's and come back on Monday on fire Sold 120 mill pre season spent 60 but that's us we always have to sell loads to be able to buy year in year out it suckz SACK THE BOARD..... smashin88 Posted May 5, 2014 Share Posted May 5, 2014 after the debacle at Fulham ive opted for Barnsley really enjoyed trying too keep them up last time and nearly pulled it off.....brought in some shrewd signings and a couple of loans aswell kept the wages down in it for the long haul like thought of keepin them up and putting my own stamp on them git a couple of diddy players on huge wages from a previous regime but nothing like poor davie at west brom. results have bin good so far scoring goals isn't proving a problem and the defence is coming together really young team open to a lot of improvement 14th is fair but still could easily be higher highlight so far is humpin mikes Tottenham team of the park in a 4 nill thrashing was good game and the class in my team really showed through counter attack after counter attack breaking through a very dodgy defense...... I have had a good summer buying a few players, but I spread the money around and paid around £5mil to get a whole new team, rather then 2 or 3 good players like Cardiff. Finances as expected are shocking, just another 6 months to hold out now till Rodwell goes... Well.... 2 days down and one to go we are giving it our best thought back to 5th place my aim is to try and snatch a late CL place wich will be hard given that im so far behind 1st and 2nd place and the other spots are occupied by high flying Grant and Steady Eddy Mike ... My season so far has been very up and down I actually hit my lowest placing in years this year in 17th my job was very insecure I had my first ever board meeting and a long list of bleeding injuries and unhappy men in my ranks........ But kicking scratching clawing and busting a nut we finally have arrived at 5th place sniffing just behind the big boys again after the start we had and more budget cuts even tho I spent 60 sold 120 I am very happy to be were I am . Hoping that if I do fail to make the CL places and I go out the CL to man utd in the quarters im hoping my board still bides me time to get things right again and I am fully confident if they allow me time we will be back kicking about in the top 4 and challenging for honours .... Season - had a very poor start dropped to 17th and each game I played I was in danger of being sacked we were playing awesome but not scoring and conceding any shot at our goal then the injuries piled up and morale just went to pot it got very very messy I decided to switch from my trusted tactic to something more bold in a bid to try and just go all guns blazing in an attempt to save my job which worked a treat for the most part we surged up the table and at one point I thought top 4 was a real possibility but it was not to be I came 5th with a points tally that would of got me fourth in the 4 previous seasons so I really think I have had an unlucky season in all ... Pre Season ... no money yet again having to choose who to sell already made 3 sacrifices and gathered in a kitty of 50 mill.... I lost a very good player and prospect on a free that sucked I did tie up his contract but the game was reloaded due to some reasons I don't care to remember . I have a lot of players reaching 30 and have sold a lot of very good talent over the years for big fees to keep my club afloat I only wish I had better owners as I feel that's the biggest stumbling block with this club no matter how much u sell or how much profit u make u always wind up back in debt at the end of the season heavily and in 8 years in charge the most I have ever had was 13 mill and that was once every other year nothing and 100K over wages as they reduce it all the time . I am looking to add some quality to the squad and also some quality prospects its time for a shake up at palace the dead wood underperformers will be leaving those who are sucking a high wage out the club and spending half the year on the injury list will be out. My Season Aims..... Transition period for me as big changes are going to be made but never the less top 4 and a trophy is the aim that wont be easy with mike at Tottenham who were good and getting better and grant at west ham and ofc and the AI who just never lose that being Chels and Man Utd. heck every other AI team is fading away even City but this Utd and Chelsea are something else ..... Not done this in a wile so here goes.... Run down of the competition in the clan . Davie - doing well by Davies standards to still be at WBA fighting away hes made a couple of comical contract errors wich is eventually gonna ruin the club and lose him the job ( tut tut davie. ) Andy - done very well at Barnsley this year if he gets to sign another few players that he likes he could do well again. Grant - I really like Grant's west ham hes one of the longest serving managers at a club and his built quite a sublime team he has got unlucky at the end of every season just about but finally clawed himself into the top 4 this year with a few trophies to show for it had a great season and I think things will get even better for him next year now that hes in the champions league . Mature Mike - Doing well at Villa who were new premier league slobs on high wages that were not justified by any means surprises me with how good they have done I don't think he has spent any money until now I think this is the first chance he has had to burn some money so given a few good signings it will be interesting to see how he does. Belly - Still at Cardiff has a lot of young kids that I know a lot of people in the clan are waiting / hoping he gets sacked to pounce on them has done well to keep his job and survive for 2 years and his sides looking better all the time .... sell me pedrinha pls ... Luke - %$^$%^**^%*&*()*&^%$£$%^&*(*&^%$%^&*(*&^%^&* . Mini Mike - Earned a job at spurs has took to them right away they had a nice team full of English players and a world class striker with his spin on things instantly grabbed a top 4 spot hes splashing the cash this year so no doubt he will do well again . Youngsters are coming on slowly and the instalments have another 22 months to run until I can really start investing again. I have signed some free players to tie me over although the squad is very small. If I can consolidate now until my debts are paid I have lined up some great additions to the squad and we should start to climb the table in the next 3-5 seasons. But there you go I am surprised but also I hope it all stays together my team have quality we have been down on our luck for 2 years so I am hoping this is the year things actually piece together nicely for once. Barnsley chasing Europe after a tremendous start too the season sittin pretty in 8th ahead of some europan power houses of football.....Wage bill totally fubar by a previous regime ( Luke ) and a team made up of free transfers and unwanted players but sean Mitchell at the backs turning into a tidy defender and a real threat at set pieces young noel up front is a beast and when hes clean through rarely gets caught midfield is strong and really impose themselves on the opposition really worrying thing is my 3 best players where all out for the first 2 months so im ready too push on and give the boys at the top something to worry about.......SUPER BARNSLEY all the way Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

superstar111111 Posted May 18, 2014 Share Posted May 18, 2014 Mike - Villa Well finally got rid of all the dead weight that was keeping us down and I managed to scoop together a transfer fund to get some proper players in. With the players i have signed I actually feel that we have a better squad and team than we have had last couple of years yet we just haven't clicked all season. We have lost about 4 or 5 games in the last ten minutes also. Saying that we shouldn't really worry about relegation this year as we have a nice run of 4 games where we should pick up some points. As you can see def has been *****, but my strikers have been good. Cuntz has been a real let down so far this year when the last cpl he has hit 15 goals and 15 assists just in the league. We were sitting comfortably 8 points clear of safety but a bad run coinciding with Lukes Sheff Wed turning into the Harlem Globe Trotters, run us very close. Again the win 1 lose 1 form was a feature of our season end but thankfully we did just enough. On a sadder note there has been some Chairmen lurking around Cardiff sniffing around the talent and we have now received a bid that we couldn't refuse for our Best Player and CM Pedrinho : This will secure the club financially and also help us strengthen the squad in a number of areas. First place with two games to go 18 shots to 2 against Chelsea 6 clear cuts goals offside and woodwork rattled sitters missed so I lose 2-0 and lose my title lead . Europa league semi final my one and only goalkeeper gets a cold on the day of the match so I concede 5 goals every single shot that went to my stand in CPU generated gk went in . LOL oh and the FA cup final I was battering Chelsea 1-0 up my LB gets injured no LB on the bench then my best CB gets sent off oh then another injury then another sending off safe to say Chelsea scraped back all be it on corners I managed to make that 2-2 only to be struck a low blow again by the scum . no money again and wages slashed ridiculously this year looks like another year of having to sell to buy I have a few approaching 30/31 years old now wich is a worry the value on some are dropping totally gutted about last season so I don't have that much to say . Congrats to the first league winner Grant - Grant and Mike both got a lot of money and I got zilch it seems like at palace its always going to be the case which is seriously holding us back I will maybe have to leave here in the future. First place with two games to go 18 shots to 2 against Chelsea 6 clear cuts goals offside and woodwork rattled sitters missed so I lose 2-0 and lose my title lead . Europa league semi final my one and only goalkeeper gets a cold on the day of the match so I concede 5 goals every single shot that went to my stand in CPU generated gk went in .
