officespace82
The patch released on the day of the game....will the patch update any game created before the patch is installed? or will i have to start a new game to get the 'fix(s)' to work in my saved game? GillsMan
The patch is saved game compatible, however it is recommended that you start a new game with a new patch.
wally13
You can carry on but its always recomended to start a fresh so you get the best out of the fixes etc
arsenal_2111
Bug fixes will go into any game, existing or not. You don't need to start a new game. To get the new data changes (although there aren't many) you need so start a new game. However, starting a new game is recommended for best effect. EDIT: Pft, 3rd, but mine was the best answer Btw, Gills is on fire
Carl
The patch corrects the code running your saved games, not the saved games itself. To get the full effect of the patch, you need to start a new game, as always.

EDIT: Pft, 3rd, but mine was the best answer Btw, Gills is on fire Er... its not the best as 1 - not all the bug fixes will work on an already created saved game, and 2 - There are no data changes. The Stehpen Carr change is being hard coded.
officespace82
I can live without Stephen Carr in the game tbh, always hated the bald git. ( Arsenal fan ofc ) I always thought you only had to start a new game for the data patches to update squads etc, not for bug fixing.
Leicester
Does the patch include all the loans that weren't in the demo and ones that have happened in the last few days or will it only fix a few bugs and Stephen Carr's retirement?
jonny dos santos
The patch is out people it came out at like 5pm today from? ? ? i started a thread asking a question similar to this and it got deleted, however someone told me it was being hosted on various sites, and would find it in some of the threads on here, is that right? is this supposed patch legit??? arsenal_2111
I wouldn't recommend you download that patch, it was probably withdrawn for a reason. Er... its not the best as 1 - not all the bug fixes will work on an already created saved game, and 2 - There are no data changes. The Stehpen Carr change is being hard coded. Wow, someone doesn't know what a wink means! And, last time I checked, putting Stephen Carr into the game when he wasn't in a previous version is changing the data.
