tomsmith1989 Posted June 3, 2009 Share Posted June 3, 2009 I've never thought about this, but when compensation is paid due to signing a player it goes to the old club of the player, and so I would imagine that the same happens with the manager. If the club terminates the contract obviously you, the manager, should get compensated. Don't know if it is added to you career earnings though. I just noticed the other night in the transfer out screens (staff) compensation payments. Eg. Benitez from Liverpool to Real, 1M. Good question by the OP; never been fired, so I dunno.
