Contract termination payoff

Recommended Posts

I've never thought about this, but when compensation is paid due to signing a player it goes to the old club of the player, and so I would imagine that the same happens with the manager. The compensation should go to the club, and not yourself.

Ehm, what?

If the club terminates the contract obviously you, the manager, should get compensated. Don't know if it is added to you career earnings though.

Whoops. For some reason I was thinking the OP was meaning if you got hired by another team. My mistake :o:p

You did miss the point tom, but raised a good observation. I just noticed the other night in the transfer out screens (staff) compensation payments. Eg. Benitez from Liverpool to Real, 1M.

Good question by the OP; never been fired, so I dunno.

You havent played FM until you have been fired.

In response to OP, not sure myself, but it should be assumed that if you get any compensation, it should go to career earnings
