uglyghost
I have spent countless hours reading some great threads here http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/439768-FM16-The-Sammarinese-Challenge and here http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/437910-FM16-Youth-Academy-Challenge and many other great threads here http://community.sigames.com/forumdisplay.php/151-FM-Career-Updates My ambitions: This seems to be over ambitious! My goal is to: Take one of the lowest ranked national teams in each continent. Pick the lowest reputation team in the lowest playable league. Youth only, no signings. Become the national premier league champions. Become the continental club champions. Win the continental championships with the National Team. Win the World Cup with the National Team. Here are my selections based on the world rankings in FM16 June 2015: Oceania Cook Islands (208), Papua New Guinea (203) and American Samoa (201) are at the bottom of Oceania rankings. So I chose Cook Islands as my first adventure. North & Central America Anguilla (209), Bahamas (198), British Virgin Islands (195) I am thinking of doing British Virgin Islands or maybe Anguilla. I appreciate your suggestions... Europe Andorra (204), San Marino (193), Malta (156) I am inclining towards Andorra as a lot of you are doing some great saves in San Marino. How about Malta? Asia Mongolia (202), Macau (189) and Brunei Darussalam (184) Tried Mongolia but a few data errors are cropping up. I think I have to spend some time to edit. Macau seems to be an interesting option. I am also thinking of Nepal as I love the icy mountains in Nepal. Any suggestions? Africa Djibouti (207), Somalia (206), Eritrea (205) are lowest ranked countries in Africa. Unfortunately I do not have the data files. Either I have to make the data files myself, or I need to choose from some higher ranked african nations... South America Bolivia (75) and Paraguay (60). Yet to decide here. Maybe I will give this a low priority as all nations in south america have top 100 fifa ranking. Kick Off Time I know this is one hell of a challenge and countless sleepless nights are ahead. The path seems to be unclear, rough and I am on a journey in unknown waters. Your comments, support and suggestions are my inspiration. Can I ever reach my goal in at least one continent? Or more? How far can I reach in each continent? Only time will tell. So lets kick this off! Goal Club - Puaikura FC, Cook Islands. Win the Cook Islands Round Cup - the top division league. Win the Oceania Champions League. National Team - Cook Islands. Win the Oceania Nations Cup Qualify for the World Cup Win the World Cup Qualify for the Olympics Win the Olympics And no signings, youth only. With No coaching badges, and as a past Sunday League Player, Early morning I found myself in Puaikura FC, Cook Islands. Here is the club background And the initial details I have absolutely no idea about the 7 teams in the league. I picked the team with the lowest media prediction. More on the squad and key players in my upcoming post...

uglyghost
At first, the squad and staff were empty so I had to enable "Add players" and key staff options in the settings. Key Players Poor finishing. 2 youth already in the first team: He's wanted by a club. I tried to give tutoring from a senior defender but he refused to work with him No surprises. A lot of AMCs but terrible defenders. I think I go for 4-3-2-1 DM Narrow as three of the key players are AMCs Pre-season is the worst ever. Very less match practice! My assistant did not arrange any friendly. No foreign teams willing to play. I finally managed to arrange two friendlies.

uglyghost
The Squad Tactics Some of the youth seem to be very weak Mid-Season Standings I hope we will maintain this momentum.
uglyghost
Junior Coaching increased from minimal to basic. Can't wait for the youth intake. Really need some decent defender or a goalkeeper. The season ended and I am posting the season review... Well, February passed, march passed, no youth intake The players came back for a new season lol, yet no youth intake I guess September is the youth intake month! Let me pray now, without youth intake it is game over
catdaddyp
Cook Islands only produce about 15 regens for the whole nation, so you may be lucky just to get 1 regen on your team per year. Sorry man, I know that's frustrating. I use Cook Islands as my national team and make sure to add all the regens to the National Pool each year. I can't remember the exact date, but it's in Feb.
