ao296
Hi. Am using the pre-game editor for the first time after installing. However, the database is empty. The only database file I can load/import is the config.xml file. Is the database file saved in other folders or do I have to download it from somewhere? Thank you very much. dllu
That is weird. My editor just loads the default database automatically when I start it up. Try File --> Load Database... If that doesn't work, it sounds like the file is somehow missing or misplaced.
KUBI
The default database is loaded automatically on start-up. When you make changes, you save your own db.
JAY MEE TEE
Once the editor is open, on the left you will see different types of data you can edit, e.g clubs and people. Click on a category and search using the bar at the top It appears empty untill you either use the filter or search keywords. Then data will show up
ao296
Thank you for your replies. Mine has no default database. It is empty. Every category is empty, no matter what I type in Nations, People or Clubs. When I last played FM14, the editor loads the default database automatically. Then I can choose to save or load any amended database. Just doesn't work in this FM16 editor.

ao296
No, everything in its default location. Yes, have started playing fm16 for a day; saved & exit; restarted editor. Same empty database. Yes, using Steam. The in-game editor worked though. But not the pre-game editor. OR does FM16 not do pre-game editor anymore? ao296
Oh yes it worked! Previously when I uninstall, I 'delete local content' from Steam and did not delete the file from Sports Interactive folder. Need to delete editor file and re-download it. Many thanks to everyone who replied & helped! Cheers!
