Scouting Youth Players

Recommended Posts

Depends on what level I'm playing at. For example, I'm currently managing in the Championship. My scouts can't go to some of the typical good locations like Brazil or Argentina, while youngsters from England, Spain, Italy etc are usually too expensive for me to buy. So instead, I've been focusing on Scandinavia a lot. And while I've only found one, maybe two players who are likely to become truly top class, I've got a nice group of potentially decent to good Premiership players, who will hopefully, over the next few years, develop to that kind of level along with the club.

I'm the same, it depends on what level the club is at due to scouting restrictions.

When I'm at a major club I will scout every country although I only usually find the world class talent worth signing in England, France, Spain, Italy and Germany. Brazil and Argentina produce great players but I have a rule of signing them as young as possible and I won't wait until they turn 18 for them to join.
