Annoying: Poor research!

I understand this is a data issue, and I have taken it up in the relevant forum, but I did want to bring it to the attention of a more populated part of the forum.

I'm Northern Ireland manager and wanted to call up Dele Adebola but it won't let me. Why? Because he is listed as having played for Nigeria.

Dele has never represented Nigeria and this has to go down as severely poor research.

I hope this will be changed in future versions!

Dele Adebola has decalred himself for Nigeria, so he cannot be picked for NI. It happened many years ago, Sammy McIlroy tried to convince him to play for NI, but he said he was only interested in Nigeria.

But he listed as having one cap. This is incorrect.

jeez, there's far more serious data issues around than whether some near to be retired, has been of a player has a cap or not.

I would hardly call this a massive data error if indeed it is one.

Certainly no need to post it in both the data forum and general discussion forum. By raising it in the data forum it will be dealt with.

I was hoping the researcher responsible would see it and explain why he has made such a blatant mistake

Oh, and you're wrong by the way. Dele turned down Nigeria for political reasons.
