gillsminnow
i.e. Loading a game with English leagues would also loading the Swedish league, South African league and the chinese league generate more players from around scandinavia, africa and asia in the future? Glenn Wakeford
Yes, but you can load players in from these regions without having to add the leagues in. When starting a new game select the countries you want in the 'Load all players from' option.
gillsminnow
Would that make it a bit faster than adding the league, skorp? Basically I would like as many players as possible from the most amount of regions without compromising as much as possible on speed. Talking more about the future (regens) really. So would loading all players from Denmark, Norway and Sweden would be more beneficial than just adding the Swedish league?
CaptainPlanet
In my experience, loading a league is the equivilent of loading all players from two nations. (in terms of speed of play change)
Glenn Wakeford
Yeah that's the fastest way of having players from more countries into the game. Loading players from Scandiavia would indeed be quicker on game processing than adding more leagues.
gillsminnow
Ok, my setup really at the moment is as follows: Medium Database Argentina - Top (to generate various south americans) Brazil - Top (to generate various south americans) China - Top (to generate various asians) England - All France - Top (to generate french players) Germany - Top (to generate german players) Holland - Top (to generate dutch players) Italy - All Portugal - Top (to generate portuguese players) Scotland - Top South Africa - Top (to generate various africans) Spain - All Sweden - Top (to generate various scandinavians) USA - Top (to generate various americans) What setup could I possibly change to in order to increase speed a bit and have players from those regions generated, would loading all players from Brazil and Argentina rather than having the leagues selected still generate enough players from Colombia etc? phnompenhandy
Running the league means processing all the matches etc - that slows you down. Retaining players doesn't do this. So it would be faster to retain players from loads of countries and not run the leagues.
gillsminnow
Would retaining players in Brazil & Argentina generate players from Colombia in the future though, just like loading the leagues from Brazil and Argentina would?
Glenn Wakeford
Would retaining players in Brazil & Argentina generate players from Colombia in the future though, just like loading the leagues from Brazil and Argentina would? Not to the same extent. You'd be best off adding Colombia to the list of 'load all players from'.
