reddevil0728
Why can't it be printed in blocks of 5? its so irritating
Scott McC
I don't see what's difficult about it? You type it in as you read it and the cursor moves onto the next block of 5 on the screen for you.
AdamC
It would make more sense if it was HEX, and therefore legible like every other product key I've seen. Eliminates the O/0 problem too. Just a thought for FM10...
backpackant
http://community.sigames.com/announcement.php?f=24&a=18 Once you've checked it on here, use copy and paste. Might save some time for you.
Klimowicz
i've typed in and used copy and paste within Steam. still no joy...
Scott McC
You may have to put dashes after every 5th digit like Steam shows.
reddevil0728
Now thats not the point. I am just saying WHY can't they print the freaking KEY in BLOCKS OF 5 with dashes in between for ease of reading instead of 1 whole chunk? a few dashes etc cost alot more in printing? so stingy? Neji
Is it really that much of a problem?
AdamC
Is it really that much of a problem? It is if your eyesight isn't great and you can't use a product you've just spent £30 on due to the creators not thinking it through.
Neji
It is if your eyesight isn't great and you can't use a product you've just spent £30 on due to the creators not thinking it through. If you have bad eyesight - you should have glasses. Also, if you have bad eyesight, FM probably isn't the game for you

reddevil0728
Is it really that much of a problem? Is there a problem in adding it in?
Neji
Is there a problem in adding it in? Seeing as the manuals are already printed - yes. I understand where you're coming from, it is annoying but it just seems like a wierd thing to be moaning about

Klimowicz
Dunno about the boxed version, but although the Steam version is still asking me for a key whenever I click the fm09 shortcut, I can actually play the game. I've just noticed on the "Game:" screen, my activation status is "Activated". The key is also present in my Registry. Whatever the issue, it's only a minor annoyance to me now. Administrators Neil Brock Posted November 16, 2008 Administrators Share Posted November 16, 2008 reddevil can you please stop bumping threads, it's printed like it is to make it harder for people to photocopy and pass on illegally.
Chingchong
You could always do what they did in the bad old days and make it red text on red back ground. Hell forget uniloc and steam, bung in lenslok and a code wheel. "If you want to access the youth team please enter the word on page 3, line 2 of the manual." Ahh but then you'd have pirates printing out illegal novellas. DRM- It's a funny old game
4Site
The font used and the quality of the print is horrible, I had to try about 4-5 times to get the 0/O and 1/I correct.
