Your RAM is way too low. You need at least 1GB.

go to www.crucial.com/uk and run their system scanner to see what you can do in that regard. Probably only cost £20-£30 for 2GB.

Your graphics card "should" run the game, make sure you have the recent updated GeForce drivers from NVidia (the only came out 2 weeks ago)

PC System Requirements

OS - Windows Vista or XP

Processor Speed - Vista - 2.0GHz, XP - 1.4GHz Memory - Vista - 1GB, XP - 512MB Videocard - 128MB Nvidia FX 5900 Ultra, ATI Radeon 9800, Intel 82915G/82910GL or greater.

The processor should be fine. I've built and rebuilt my PC several times over the past 12 years, bit by bit (and made four seperate PCs from the bits I've replaced!) so age isn't really relevant, it's more about what the various bits can cope with. A graphics card should only be about £20/30 and the last RAM I bought a couple of months ago was £15 for a 1GB stick. If you don't know how to install them yourself, add on a bit for buying your mate a drink for doing it for you and you'll see it's just not worth junking a lot of perfectly good hardware for the sake of a couple of components.

You might need to junk the RAM you've got in there are put in all new RAM - a lot of systems don't like mixing differently sized RAM sticks. You'll need to check what sort of RAM stick your motherboard takes before you buy too - try the scanner on here:

You probably have a PCI slot. It is becoming obsolete now in favour of PCI Express and AGP.

You might need to junk the RAM you've got in there are put in all new RAM - a lot of systems don't like mixing differently sized RAM sticks. You'll need to check what sort of RAM stick your motherboard takes before you buy too - try the scanner on here:

Yes, make a note of what Crucial reccomended to replace your RAM with. You have 3 slots so can take it right up to 3GB.

As your graphics card, I would take it to a dedicated computer shop and ask them to find a good upgrade for you. Like I said it is probably PCI, but you may have an AGp slot available too.

You don't need to get a whole new pc. RAM and graphics cards plug straight into your motherboard and will cost a whole lot cheaper, even if you have to get someone else to install them for you.

For XP yes, though IMO get as much RAM as you can afford (it is very cheap ATM).

Actually I just checked and the min requirement is 64meg, which just shows how bloody silly min requirements are. Nothing would move ever with that amount of ram.
