Under 20 teams are allowed to have a maxium of 3 players over the age of 20 but I think the maxiumum age is 23 isn't it. Not sure though
Nautilus
He is correct. Under 20 teams are allowed to have a maxium of 3 players over the age of 20 but I think the maxiumum age is 23 isn't it. Not sure though I can assure you that right now I'm placing 8 players over 20 in my youth team and it's as if nothing awkward is happening!
Scotty Walds
You can move them to the squad, but only 2 can be selected to play for the youth team... It says on the rules screen - "The match squad cannot have more than two players aged over 21"
Gareth Winter
He is correct. Under 20 teams are allowed to have a maxium of 3 players over the age of 20 but I think the maxiumum age is 23 isn't it. Not sure though I agree, i think there is a maximum age of 23. Arsenal_Fan_1986
I learn some new everyday. When I have an unfit player and want to put him in reserves, I wandered why the option to put him in my U-18 squad when he is over 18.
Dave Fairbairn
It doesn't work in England, it is only in countries such as Italy and Greece where there are no reserves. And no, the age limit is not 23, they can be any age, it is meant for use with injured players who need to get back into match fitness. I also sometimes send my reserves down to get them fit, too. Scotty Walds
Over age players can play for the U18s in any friendlies you arrange for them.
Dave Fairbairn
Well yeah, but I'm talking U18 league games.
TomHAVFC
I can assure you that right now I'm placing 8 players over 20 in my youth team and it's as if nothing awkward is happening! I'm not talking about youth teams. You can have as many ages as you want in the youth team. I'm talking about Under 20 international teams. They are only allowed to take 3 players over the age of 20 and no more.

Dave Fairbairn
Yes Tom, but the topic is talking about Inter Milan Under 20s. I don't know where you got any ideas about internationals from.
