DenProject Posted February 17, 2012 Share Posted February 17, 2012 I'm under the impression you need high attributes in whichever coaching discipline (GK, Def, etc), then high numbers in determination, motivating, and level of discipline to have a good coach. How does reputation tie into this? Do any of the other attributes make a difference? Is there a formula to decide if a coach will be five star before hiring them only to find out hes a four star, on twice as much as all the other four star coaches? Suggestions please... Bootador Posted February 17, 2012 Share Posted February 17, 2012 The formula has been the same for a while now such that a 5* coach in FM2012 uses the exact same formula as the old 7* coaches in FM2010. I haven't tested it thoroughly or anything like that but it seems accurate for all the coaches that I have/had so far. DDM stands for Determination + Level of Discipline + Motivating. Well, the tactics and GK so far anyway so i'm guessing the rest will be true. Is there any kind of genie program you can use to hunt down the coaches with these requirements without having to slave over adding things up etc? slich Posted February 17, 2012 Share Posted February 17, 2012 Yeah you can do it using Genie Scout. When using the staff list tab, there are columns for each of the training categories. If the coach is a 90% or higher, marked by a 10 in parentheses, that means hes a 5 star coach in that category. If you look into his profile page it'll show all the star ratings for all the different categories. slich Posted February 17, 2012 Share Posted February 17, 2012 They have separate tabs for players and staff, so as long as you don't use the player tab you won't get any information about the players. Theres a guide about how it works on their site so you can read that to see how it works, but it does not affect the game at all, it just reads the save file to give you the information. Any thoughts? :)Person A,is low on Det/Mot,,Person B is low on tac/mot,if those stats were 15+ i think they would be 4/5 stars,,,,yes maybe better coaching facilitys and of course a top level club? might help,,,,,,,,,dont know about all your figures in the adding up bit but Def/Tac/Det/Mot need to be nearly 20 for a 5star coach!
