jonnyfresh
does anyone have any idea how this works, when is it paid out? thanks
Stu Coleman
The bonus is paid out over the length of the contract. If the player is sold, he will be due the outstanding sum. If the player requests a transfer at any stage, he forfeits the remaining bonus.
jonnyfresh
hello stu, is it paid at the end of the year? if the loyalty bonus is 1million over a 5 year contract, at the end of the year the player gets 200k? Thanks

So in that scenario the player would be getting £16'666 per month in a loyalty bonus.

phnompenhandy
If you're not careful, the new attempts to circumvent the wage cap can lead you to be paying out as much in bonuses and loyalty payments every month as in wages. The breakdown of expenditure is much better this year - and scary! Now you can better see how you can bleed money even keeping to your wage budget. Loyalty payments, staff wages, scouting expenses, cost of youth structure etc. Can you afford to send your scout overseas? Can you afford to upgrade your facilities? Ouch! Nobby_McDonald
Sounds excellent, will make it even more of a struggle for clubs like it is in real life right now.
tigerhgrrrrrr
So a BSS loyalty bonus of "£6"is £6 per month? In this case its £6 loyalty bonus for a 1 year contract, so according to Stu Coleman it would be 50p per month? Can anyone clarify this please??
