The Welsh Lad
I have never really been a long haul player of FM and was wondering if anyone has played the game long enough to have a forced retirement. I remember playing SWOS back in the day and when you reached 64 think you was sent a messege saying thank you for your time but we feel its time to hand the club to a younger person to carry them forward (well something to that effect). Just wondered if it happens on here.
afced7
No, you get stuck at 100 years old forever.
The Welsh Lad
I'll take you word for it but it is a shame that it doesn't force you to retire because it would give someone more drive to be successful in the time they got. So if it was implemented in FM12 then the retirment age would be 70 has it is in real life.
afced7
I'd rather be able to play the game as I like tbh.

If you want to retire at 70 then simply retire your manager. Besides, 70 is not the compulsory age to retire in real life, there isn't one.
