shaunwwfc
This is one thing that has bugged me about the last few FM. It’s annoying when you have a player with superb stats, for him to either break a leg/cruciate knee or even minor few months out and come back fully fit only to find his stats have reduced ridiculously. Fair enough I can understand the logic behind it, but once a player suffers an injury which is in the slightest serious I find they need to be sold as there just not up to it anymore. Is there anyway possible to prevent this?

milnerpoint
must have been a pretty bad injury before death is next in short there is no way to prevent a player losing stats when he is injured.
Ishu
Overreacting. I had Hernandez and Rooney injured for 10+ months each. Stats fell but were back up again after a few months. I hardly needed to sell them.

nickdc
How many great players came back poorer due to injuries? Whiteside, Gascoigne, Owen, Ronaldo. Even Giggs wasn't the wing wizard he once was when he went crock in the mid nineties.
furiousuk
The stats will come back up, unless the player in question is old(er). A long-term injury in a 30+ y/o can be a killer.
