wezlaar
I started a new game as man utd with a downloaded update, i saved the game last night i come on this morning to go play my 30 year long boston save to find that my new game has been saved over the top of it and all the backups! its made me rage cause i dont get why it did this, i clicked saved game on my new game and didnt make nothing of it when it didnt make me create a new file, i just dont understand why it would save over my boston one! GioGio85
This sounds horrendous - are you sure you didnt click save as by mistake? Either way im sorry man! What had you done with Boston?
SWaRFeGa
Did you give them individual names? I'm guessing not.
La Furia Roja
you dont have rolling saves to fall back on?
robzilla
If you've overwritten all your rolling saves too, maybe Windows' "Previous Versions" can get it back?
Iluv Soccr
If you've overwritten all your rolling saves too, maybe Windows' "Previous Versions" can get it back? Are you referring to Windows restore? Because I don't think that will work. I'm sure it only restores Windows files (System files, OS Patches etc.)
La Furia Roja
surely it hasnt saved over the rolling ones too?
--b--
a similar thing happened to me once it hurts but at the end of the day its not the end of the world and all you can do is move on
Indran1412
If you are using Win Vista or 7, go to the save file properties, click "Previous Versions" tab and revert your save file. You will lose the MU save but you'll get your 30-year long save game. Reply if you managed to get your save back.
dave byrd
I feel your pain but there is simply no way saving a new game will save over all of you back ups. I'd check in your games folder as see what's in there.
Alan A Wadge
u surely must have a backup in there... check again mate!
