yellow cards

i can't remember a game without at least one YELLOW FLAG. most games seem to have more than one and sometimes up to 4-5. FOUR yellow flags in one game? this should be pretty rare not every few games. is there an adjustment or tweak that can alter this goof? thanks.

Premiership in 2007:

1407 yellow cards in 380 games = 3.87 yellow cards / game average.

It's very common in real life (in all leagues) to have high numbers of bookings. Don't forget, it also depends on how hard the tackling is set, how aggressive the players are, how many fouls they commit in a game, etc.

I don't remember the last game I watched without any bookings. Its fine. If you're getting loads its your tactics.

Set your tackling to cautious, or get better defenders. I consistently pick up less than 25 bookings a season, and only one or two reds a season.

The much more egregious problem with cautions in the game is the tendency to have the first one show up in the first 5 min. of the game. THAT, at least, is very unlikely to happen in real life.
