santy001 Posted April 25, 2010 Share Posted April 25, 2010 CL group stage doesn't work like that, its sorted by (if I remember rightly) Points Head to Head Goal Difference So, if Stuttgart beat AZ and drew with them, Stuttgart are top on the head to head with 4 points vs 1 point. Even if they were both draws, if Stuttgart drew 1-1 and home and 2-2 away, their away goals are better and still come out on top in the head to head I believe. I may be wrong, but I know the Champions League and now Europa League too I suspect don't follow the same structuring as the Premiership and other leagues.
