NCFC_4_LIFE Posted May 22, 2008 Share Posted May 22, 2008 Help me!! My most prized fm08 save is not letting me past Tuesday 13th July 2010. When i press continue from this date, fm08 minimizes and this box appears: Applicaton Error ! A serious error was encountered and the application will close. An error file has been generated in CAMERON-PC/C:/Users/Cameron/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008/crash dumps I have looked in the folder shown but there is no file I have put so much time and effort into this save - is there a chance to save it? I have tried going on holiday past this date but the same happens. trekman Posted May 22, 2008 Share Posted May 22, 2008 If you haven't got the rolling save option selected then try moving your game to an external hard drive or pen drive if you have one then check your hard drive for errors and defrag then put your game back and see if this helps. A virus and spyware scan might also be a good thing to try. If non of this helps then I'm afraid you'll probably have to start again. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
