Dirty Harry
There doesn't appear to be a reserves league for the reserves to play in in Italy in my current game. Is this right or have i accidentaly ticked some box? Ihaven't played in Italy for a while.
DivineOne
There isn't one. That's why loaning and co-ownership is so popular there.

johadert
I've always created a slate of friendlies for my reserves. I assume this works just as well as having a reserve league?
InterWolf
You're allowed 2 or 3 over 20s in your under 20s.
Thedore
This is the reason I steer well clear of Italian football.
x42bn6
It's not a bad thing, no Reserves League. The Reserves League in England is rubbish enough anyway. Spanish B teams are probably the best but I wouldn't rely on them since they can also go up and down the ladder.
Roman Chevalier
it is annoying because no other reserve team will accept my friendly proposals, thye just ignore me. So to the op, yeah, you will have 4 or 5 players severely lacking in match practice, and thus they are useless when you eventually do use them

For me the point of the reserve league is not so much for its quality but for the fact that it keeps your backup players match fit. These are guys who don't make my first team bench but may be called upon if injuries strike. I want them to be match fit straight away.

You shouldn't have too many 20-year-olds in the Under-20s to take up spaces anyway (just as you don't want to fill your Under-18s with lots of 18-year-olds as they count as overage players). The Under-20s are your Reserves squad in a sense.
stevio11
You will end up loaning them out as stated above or you get get rid of the deadwood as well.
