Is it possible my striker is being poisoned, or something?

I realize it is unlikely, yet examining the player's profile for the first time in a week (game time, that is) and his attributes are suddenly sinking like a sunset: 19 are visually represented by reda arrows pointing straight down.

How is this possible? I yelled at him a couple of weeks ago, but this is ridiculous!

Exactly!

That is why I suspect zombie powder (or the like) in his moules mariniere...

At concentration 4 he will probably need help with his shoelaces.

There are many reasons why this could be happening. Here are the most immediate:

1) Your training schedule.

2) His personal happiness/morale/team happiness.

3) He is being played out of position or not played at all.

He was being played, and the schedule he was assigned has not caused this to happen previously to him or anyone else.

Which leaves point 2: if his morale can be improved, would it be possible for him to reverse his attribute loss?

Or is it like gaining weight, ie. really easy to gain, very hard to lose?

this happened with my aguero for no reason. was playing really well and all his stats drop. happens on all my saves.

well for one his morale is very low.

for second.. has his stats truly gone down?

because those arrows can just be a snap shot which dont really mean much over the course of a few months.

all those stats that are showing as a red arrow could have been showing as a green arrow only the week before. meaning they've all gone up by one point. and then back down by one point.

If so, perhaps your training is of a lower quality than his old clubs, and he's taking a hit from it?

Have you just installed the patch? 8.0.2 can make some big changes to player attributes.

Simple, he just discovered the joys of Colombian nose powder. Simple, guy has drug problem. Not the first either.

i imagine its the problem associated with playing a 8.01 or 8.00 (?) game after installing the 8.02 patch. training in the earlier versions apparently unrealistically raised attributes.

Wasn't newly purchased, didn't update to 8.02 after starting the game, so I shall assume that the changes might be an indicator of trends as postal postie suggests.
