ap11
according to the fm10.2 match engine, england seems to have a rainy season that lasts for about 6 months... has anyone else found this?

given1legend
There is no rainy season, there is always a chance of rain. I feel this is well shown on FM10

this_is_gav
It's an annoying one. Every other game it's raining. Obviously it does rain quite a bit in England, it's not every other game! It wouldn't be a problem if it doesn't sap players stamina.

Try rotating a few players now and then.
this_is_gav
Yeah thanks, I realise that. So why not just model heavy pitches more? It's not like they're not already in the game...
Ty
Try living in Scotland. I am going to give this a pass Btw, I never use 2D mode, how does it represent rain on that or does it not?
nine_iron
The place to experience warm rain in the UK is the west coast of scotland in summer, its brillopads!
Dgirth
I live in the south of eng, i work outdoors. It rains pretty much most of the year even in the height of summer. Good for growing stuff though :
this_is_gav
Think of it another way. While it might be forecast to rain, it doesn't often rain continuously... forecasts generally mean that at some point it will rain. In real life, how many matches are there were it rains constantly for an entire game? How many matches are there where it rains at all? It's certainly not the 50% it seems in the game. In the game, forecast rain invariably means a downpour, which is quite harsh on the smaller squads in the game.
swed151
It always rains the most in the summer in any country. Not true. Places like the middle east it only rains in the spring then it's dry the rest of the year.
