HakanMild
I thought up of a little fun game we could play where 1 person asks the next poster which attributes he would choose over in a player or specific position. Ex. Would you rather have high marking or high tackling for your centre defender? Next person would say 'marking' lets say and then would ask his own question. You should explain your reasoning too. I chose marking because I could set tackling to easy while marking I consider more important. I'll start: Would you prefer your striker to have 20 in heading and 10 in jumping or 20 in jumping and 10 in heading?
furiousuk
I'm a determination man! I usually end up managing sides that punching above their weight and find determination the most important stat. Helps finsih off games and also helps turn around losses at half-time. HakanMild
Did you read my beginning post??? You are supposed to answer the above question and then ask one of your own.
BigCisHere
I think I would have to go with 20 humping and 10 heading, at least that way if he can beat a defender to the ball he can set someone else up or at least make an attempt to hit the target. how about high finishing or high composure? with one-on-ones more difficult to score, composure is more important than ever, but which would you take? Lordarod
composure. it is proven to be more effective than finishing. Midfielder with 10 passing, 20 creativity or vice versa?
medo24
I would go for 20 in passing and 10 in creativity because its important that players can find team mates to keep possession. 20 in pace and 10 in acceleration or 10 in pace and 20 in acceleration?
HakanMild
20 in acceleration. I consider pace more important when the player is running to a ball vs opposing player, that happens less often than when acceleration is called into play (such as battling in midfield or cutting in attack or going after someone in close quarters defense.) 20 in decisions and 10 in work-rate or vice versa for your centre midfielder. Lordarod
20 in work rate I would give him defensive duties 10 in tackling, 20 in strength or vice versa for defenders?
sebzilla
Tackling. IMO the most important attribute for a defender. 20 Reflexes and 10 handling for a keeper, or vice versa?
Ty
20 in handling, atleast then when the ball is blasted at him from 30 yards he can catch it, instead of fumble it to an opposing attacking player. Heres mine; For a winger, 20 in dribbling and 10 in crossing, or 20 in crossing and 10 in dribbling
HakanMild
Definitly 20 in dribbling, this allows him to cut inside or use his passing skills and not his crossing skills. Much more dangerous with dribbling. For a striker 20 in dribbling and 10 in off the ball or vice versa?
Lordarod
20 of the ball because without it all the midfield creativity would be useless For a midfielder 20 long shots and 10 in stamina or vice versa?

iamjerome
in real life 20 stamina and 10 long shots but in fm2010 20 long shots and 10 stamina. for a centre forward 20/10 first touch vs technique
Death.
20 Technique, 10 First Touch. Just because technique will bump everything up and make his all round technical game much more consistent. It's a stat i consider as one of the most important for all players. A centre back with 20 Composure and 10 Decisions, or a centre back with 10 Composure and 20 Decisions? HakanMild
I would pick decision because I think composure is more important for forward while concentration is the key attribute for defenders. Goalkeeper with 20 for Aerial ability or 20 for Command of area?
djibril'sbird
command of area, hopefully this will take the need for his aerial ability away with a solid, organized def. for a striker, 20 finishing/10 composure, or 10 finishing/20 composure
