Woodssi
In FM 09, I used to get a good amount of goals from Inswinging Corners (where I'd employ a Left Footed Player on the Right Side , and using one of my DF's to attack the Near Post and the other Challenging Keeper). In 2010, however, I don't get anywhere near the same, with most of the deliveries going straight to the keeper. Oncoming Def's don't seem to be attacking the ball in the same way either. It seems the same when I'm defending, I don't seem to concede many goals from corners. Has this been revamped in the new version, or does anyone else use other tactics to improve their ratio? Terras-FM
Definatley prefer Innies.
Bjaart
In FM 09 you used a exploit, and that has been fixed for FM 10. Thats why your defender wont become your topscorer each season on this version. Not with that corner-setup at least.
Woodssi
Bjaart, My Defender wasn't my Top Scorer, but they'd get at least 10 - 15 goals from Corners per Season.

Robin_ellis_19
Definitely innies because of momentum of the ball, and don't need much power from a foot or head to hit the back of the net.
Richie Brill
Definitely innies! The slightest touch from any player could send it into the back of the net and I've always had some success from corner's although I haven't got FM10 yet to be able 2 try and find the corner routine that works for me
reli515
in swinging to far post, same set up as corner trick from 09 but put your best header on attacking far post. Got 20 goals from corners in my last season using this.
Pidge
I've still had Jamie Carragher pick up five goals, and some success at the near post too. The problem seems to be in the middle, the centre of the six yard area often seems to open as the ball comes in and the keeper gets it uncontested. tbh, I'm not that worried and I'll try to get around it with tactics soon. Becanes
On a related note, how do you tell the corner taker where you want him to put the ball? ie, 6 yard area, near post, etc.?
