I don't know whether to aim this at peter-evo or skorp I just realised that the question wasn't answered: The best thing that can be done is for you to persist with them but there is not a lot that can be done. Bringing in a high reputation Assistant Manager or First team coach could help but this is one of those things you will have to deal with by either persisting or releasing.
