Football Manager 2010 Wishlist - Add Yours Here!

Heres some of the things I would add into Footy Manager if I had the power to do so:

* Trophy Cabinet - Every great team has one, a place where you can view the trophys you've won over your tenure.

* Scrolling ticker that brought in news from the real football world, this could be based on a specific league or team or group of teams or leagues etc.

* Ability to add items to Calendar

* Export statistics into a XML File that you can post up to SI and have a "Manager Profile" get some social networking going on! but present it in a really nice, snazzy kind of way.

* Highlights program, get something like MOTD going on where on a Saturday evening the game show you highlights of the weeks best goals.

* Super League Creation - Maybe the FA could consider this a few years into the game, once you've won a few things and done the national team, it would be nice if your FA offered you a chance to join a Super League for the summer, instead of the players going on holiday

* Ability to do something with the cash you earn as manager, either invest it in the club as stocks/shares, anything than it just sitting there

* Ability to set "Short Term Plans" to something, be it win the league or improve the squad

* Ability to send players abroad to specialist clinics to retrieve treatment for knee injuries or other injuries that require specialist treatment

* Develop press conference further, questions need to be hugely expanded and more diverse, copy MOTD type questions for example

* Manager should be able to communicate with the fans through the programme and chose a scripted entry into that weeks match day program

* receive information on fan votes through media outlets - sky sports polls etc or phone in show opinions etc

* See parts of the stands in match view

* Make the widgets transparent again (no excuse SI)

* Have premiership table look a bit like the Sky Sports one where there are 5 coloured blocks that represent the results of your last 5 games, green for win, red for loss, and grey for draw

* Ability to take squad abroad for a small break when there is a gap in fixtures

thats all i can think of for now, but if i think of more ill post em here!

no need to apologise matey, wasnt having a go, its just most get closed etc cause there were so many flooding in they made a topic for it. Would be worth posting though, i do likea few of them, i do like the sending players abroad for treatment, however, this will require a whole financial overhaul as you would need to pay for this and would need some finance in place, and also the short term plans i like as well as long term. Say Stay up and build in 1st year and then go up in 5, so if they agree there is no sacking etc if your showing improvement, so annoying when your expected to struggle to survive then next year is top half and you get no money!

Well ive been playing the game since launch day, and those are some of the features that i personally would love to see in the game, i think they would make it far more rewarding.

The trophy cabinet has to be done by SI this is simply a must! and sending players abroad for treatment and training camps could be a hell of a feature if done correctly.

yer, i dont think you need the spending money part, i mean whats the point of it, all it will do is less time will be concertrated on game play, i suggest buying the sims for that bit, what items do you want to add to the calender? You can view any highlights of any game by clicking the scores, but i like the 2 i mentioned

I don't like this idea, because SI aren't going to get the licence to display real trophies, so they are just going to be crap generic ones. And I doubt I would look at it very often anyway.

I'm glad FM hasn't gone the way of other games where it's spending money of a car and wife, but it would be nice to be able to do something with it. Shares in a club isn't a bad idea, but what would it entail?

* Ability to take squad abroad for a small break when there is a gap in fixtures : You can! Just select rest from the training menu for 1-7 days thats what i do.

You can take a break when there is a gap in fixtures. If you arrange a tour and play a couple of meaningless friendlies
