Our 100% record continues as we go the month gathering nothing but wins. We have already gone to Bayern and won, and we have already gone to Borussia Monchengladbach and won, two of the toughest places in Germany to get points, so things are looking very good indeed for us.

953119dd6f7d4b806b7a0efe6bd51bcf.png

With six games played we have a 3 point lead over RB Leipzig. Bayern Munich have not had the best month, losing 3 times, so they find themselves already 9 points behind us in the league.

Seeing you score 5/6/7/8 goals makes me sad. You get it so often and I struggle getting 1-0s even with Real Madrid  Incredibly journey you are on. Very interesting.

Haha! Cheers! To be honest it's been mostly since I implemented a regimented player selection and recruitment model. It would take a little while to go into detail about it, but I can do for anyone who wants to know about it. Also you need a solid tactic to start with, although its a little less important as long as the tactic is balanced.

It was not the best performance, but even so it wasn't like Porto were good either. The draw may be a fair result, but we only got it late on via Thomas Grosse. It's a 1-1 in Portugal.

In the other group game Tottenham battered Copenhagen 5-0 in London, but we still remain top of the group.

Borussia Dortmund (October 2027)

October has been a decent month, but one result has be highlighted which is the 3-0 defeat away to Koln, which came without warning. It was a weird game, I would say both teams were pretty even but we they put half-chances away and we didn't. It kind of jolted me to lose heavily, something we are not used to doing. But by the end of the month we had recovered. It did kill off our unbeaten run which stood at something like 21 games at that point and stopped our perfect start to the season, which was disappointing, but these things happen.

f2b79366261e9ff6e7d55ede755037b6.png

We are top, with a pretty formidable record so far of 9 wins and a loss. We stand 5 points clear of RB Leipzig in 2nd place. Bayern Munich are having a rather terrible season so far, sitting 12 points behind us but having played a game less.

Much better this time around when we play Porto in Germany as we put 5 past them in a nice 5-0 win, to keep the leadership of the group and guarantee that we will be progressing to the next stage of the Champions League.

In the other game of the group Tottenham picked up a 2-0 win away in Denmark over Copenhagen. We still top the group and deciding the winner of the group could come down to a showdown with Tottenham in London.

Incredible that we only won the game 1-0, we absolutely battered Copenhagen all game long and somehow we only managed to score with about 20 minutes to go. The performance was good, but the efficacy was poor.

deaa7f8d877370463b7ff7a02a9f5c23.png

In the other game of the group Porto beat Tottenham 2-0 in Portugal, which means we won the group. Porto will be relying on us in the final game to get a result against Tottenham to give them a chance to go through to the next round.

We suffered out second defeat of the season away to RB Leipzig which was always going to be a hard game. But overall the month has been good, as qualified through the Champions League and for the remainder of the Bundesliga matches we have been very good and won games.

We remain top but the lead has been cut to four points from RB Leipzig. Bayern Munich have found some rhythm now and are up to 3rd; 9 points behind us.

We lose a game that did not matter too much to us, it was a pretty even game, and I played some of the guys that I felt were getting less football. I am not too bothered by the loss, it was always going to be difficult to come to London and get anything out of the game.

b7ac964e78267243aaca9d94449ea239.png

FC Porto lost in Copenhagen by 2-1 which meant that in the end the result for Tottenham would not have mattered anyway. We top the group, Tottenham Hotspur come second and we go through to the next round. FC Porto drop into the Europa League, Copenhagen go home.

Borussia Dortmund (December 2027)

890bf5a941a2498aa77d46b637488118.png

It was mostly wins this month, and some of them quite emphatic such as an 8-0 win over Werder Bremen and 6-0 over Wolfsburg. The highlight obviously being the 5-2 away derby win over Schalke which I am sure our fans loves. However we did lose to Hamburg. For some reason they seem to have the hoodoo over us over at their place. They seem to be able to nullify us and get the narrow win.

dde6bb6738057f17226ea4a892ed9e10.png

We are now six points clear at the top of the table at the halfway point of the season. RB Leipzig are 2nd, Borussia Monchengladbach 3rd and Bayern Munich 4th.  We have not yet drawn this season, the only times we have dropped points this season has been when we have lost.

A last minute goal gave Monaco the win in the first leg, but we came back from 2-0 down early to draw it back to 2-2, and 3-2 is probably not a bad result for us if we can win the return leg.

I always felt we might have too much for Monaco at home which is a fortress for us, and we got the done, getting off to a 3-0 lead by half-time. They did get an injury time goal back to make things a little nervy for the final few minutes as a second goal would have meant extra time but we got the job done 3-1 on the night and 5-4 on aggregate as we advance to the quarter finals of the Champions League.

5b5755cb9328ec7dc906805cc52a52ff.png

It was a famous night in Madrid for Dortmund fans as we absolutely embarrass Real Madrid in their own backyard winning 5-1 on the night and ending the tie. What was most remarkable was that despite being 3-0 up and getting Claudio Gomes sent off, we still went on to make the score 5-0 before Real Madrid were able to get something back. It should be over as a contest, but you never know.

We rested some key players for the second leg, but this team is ready made to rotate and not suffer many ill consequences, so we get the job done at home as well, and to be honest Real Madrid barely created a thing all game, as we ran out 2-1 winners and 7-2 winners on aggregate, in the end a much easier tie than expected and we are through to the semi finals of the Champions League.

Perhaps this one was personal for the players, due to the defeat at Koln earlier in the season, but this time around Koln were made to suffer as we ripped them to pieces. To start with they were in the game and at half time the game sat at 3-3 as they kept responding to our goals, but in the second half they had no response as we smashed another 5 past them. the game finishes 8-3 to book our place in the DFB-Pokal final for the 4th year running.

We have one foot in the Champions League final after a superb away performance in Marseille as we proved much the better side and secured a 4-1 win. Going into the dying embers it was 2-1, which while a  great results would have given Marseille some hope but we killed the tie off in the last few minutes. Marseille will need four goals in Dortmund, and we do not often allow teams to score four at our place.

Before a ball was even kicked against Augsburg, results elsewhere already meant we were champions going into the game, however that clearly did not help us as we lost the game. But we continued to improved and in a crunch month for us we have almost booked our place in the Champions League final and made sure of another appearance in the DFB-Pokal final, in what is looking like a fantastic year for us all round.

498deb3374e5ed1cac3638cbfbe7011a.png

If you are going to win a cup final against your most hated rivals you may as well do it style. I bet Bayern Munich were feeling pretty good when after 10 minutes they were 2-0 up, but once we got level in 67 minute, they were always going to be in trouble and boy did we put a hurting on them absolutely decimating them in the last 20 minutes and scoring another 5 goals, to win the game 7-2 and complete one of the most historic cup final wins and comebacks in history. It's now 4 cup's in a row, three was already a record that we held, so we are just amplifying this record with another cup this year.

Sometimes there are defining games in football, where once and for all it is shown for all to see who are the dominant force in football is, and it defines a generation. Whether it is Brazil in 1970 beating Italy, or Real Madrid beating Eintracht Frankfurt in 1960 in the Champions League final 7-3. We have achieved the same feat as we follow up from our historic DFB-Pokal final to exceed the achievement in the Champions League final by absolutely overmatching a very good Chelsea side by 7-0 on the night. The scoring did not begin until the 41st minute, but then it did start it did not stop and in the end by the time we were done on the 89th minute with Merola scoring the 7th, Chelsea had been beaten worse then any other side in Champions League Final history. We lift another Champions League trophy, in a manner that few could have predicted in Moscow.

Well May, ended up being an historic month for us, if I had dreamed about it, it would have been far fetched, but we were brilliant in the last month, with the league wrapped up we still persevered and picked up two wins and then we absolutely destroyed the opposition in the two most important games of the month as we took Bayern Munich and Chelsea apart to win another German Cup and another Champions League. A brilliant achievement from the boys.

d8faab74e5069b94e0c2e4dad12d4e54.png

We finish on 30 wins and strangely picked up no draws all season. We end on a round 90 points, which 19 more than second placed Bayern Munich, in the end the Bundesliga wasn't even close to a contest this season as we glide to a fourth consecutive title.

Yeah, it was a little surprising. I think might be due to superior conditioning and managing of the squad over the season, as there players got tired and ours didn't.

Borussia Dortmund (Squad Overview 2028)

ff287ec69ffc0876080c3ef1962cf3b9.png

Fabrizio Alastra - He didn't play last season, but he is still a very decent backup to have at the club and I think he will continue next season.

07c8e3901acc28e9a8362ddfd4b47980.png

Maxence Prevost - We bought him from Reading for £4.6m and he has had a fantastic season, completing 23 clean sheets this season. His performances got him to into the German Team of the Year and the Champions League Team of the Year and he has broken through into the French national team at the age of 31 now, which is some achievement, he has shown no sign of decline, so will be the number 1 for next season.

52ed5cb74f3fb79e174a70abebb0da8d.png

Abdou Diallo - Club captain, has another great season now at the age of 32 years old. He started 25 games last season and got a very nice rating of 7.34 across those games. He continues to be a key figure for us at the left centre back spot.

5f47e1225dfed27d115ca1397697dfec.png

Alvaro Odriozola - The full back is getting older, now at 32 years old and he had an injury hit season, so played 16 starts this season, but still got a 7.32 rating this season and has been very capable. He has not been declining in any key areas as yet against the model so he is probably okay for next season.

1907f7ef06effa4242bf6f3b4a2b6433.png

Chris Evans - He had a good season on loan at PSG playing 39 starts and getting 7.17 rating. Unfortunately he has only made a little bit of progress on the model, so we are really getting to the point, with a year remaining where we either stick or twist on him. His value is now up to £34m, so we can probably get our investment back. I may possible give him another season out on loan to see if we can improve the weaknesses.

3753533b043a5627656e4d7fcc4b5645.png

Lucas Ribeiro - He had 23 starts this season and he produced some excellent displays getting an overall rating of 7.51, he remains very much part of our plans at right centre back.

7c101a35c275ccd5cb8f1cb2dd5dab47.png

Ben Godfrey - Has barely played this season, a lot of it due to injury, and the injuries have had a set back on his suitability to our model now. We may well look to sell at this stage.

65d8b53002a925e7fa535d0e717ce3e7.png

Boubacar Kamara - He has had 29 starts and has been good this season getting a rating of 7.27. He still fits the model for the centre-back role so he will share that responsibility with Ribeiro.

6eb69d3c4ca5fa9fa043998e785ce4bb.png

Enrique Clemente - His value has shot up as his value to us is no longer questioned, he started more than any other centre back with 33 starts and got a very nice 7.30 rating over the season. He is definately going to be with us next season, especially as Diallo could at any time start declining.

feeee403be4cd6076bb6ee37a7cab122.png

Asier Moreno - He played a lot for Real Betis on loan, but really made almost no progress and was pretty average last season. We may look to sell him on at this stage.

4598a949b6d183ddcd3e730e5738457e.png

Owen Wijndal - I think there is an argument to be made that he is the best full back in the world at the moment. He played 48 times, as we really don't have great back up options at left back and he averaged 7.56 across the season. He is a fantastic player and half the world wants to buy him. He fell out with us for a period of last season after we vetoed a move to Tottenham, but he has forgotten all about it. I really do not want to replace him and he is central to my plans.

7945ed0e9d90bf979eaec9a35becd1fa.png

Ronael Pierre-Gabriel - He has actually slightly regressed as a player and is no longer perfect within the model instead with 1 attribute fault (i.e. one attribute below the value I would like). He played 40 times, as Odriozola was injured a lot of the season and then not match fit, he got a great rating of 7.50, so I am glad to proceed with him unless someone bids silly money for him and then we will assess what top options are out there in the transfer market.

4a736fea94b86de79a42965f1af5a181.png

Claudio Gomes - He has played the majority of the season at defensive midfield, and has started 49 games this season, and averaged 7.09 (pretty good for the position). He is just the number one choice at DMC and unlike the rest of the season I don't like rotating him too much as he is just too reliable. Again another player that is cert in the team for next season, no matter what we get offered.

1081f06212714b370794eb910ebf85d0.png

Teddy Lemaire - He has made 22 starts and lot of sub appearances, which is probably why is rating is a bit affected, but he still averaged 7.11 which is pretty good. He has never been a player that has fit the system perfectly, he's best at MC, but he is such a good player that it would take silly money to prize him from me.

8167157d9239a829cd83f1389c6f7d17.png

Patrik Plachy - Is becoming the better player between himself and Lemaire, and he is quickly becoming one of the very best players in the world at MC and he fits the model beautiful, and I can when required ask him to play at DMC. He played 30 starts this season and fair few sub appearances and averaged 7.29, which is very good.

8371e0ab7adcdb8fddaa56728c47e0cf.png

Jorge Rodriguez - He started the season and the club and we gave him about 7 or 8 starts and we worked hard on the gaps in his game (only one issue remains for me, and that is Teamwork which I want to be 13 and not 12, without that issue he becomes perfect for the model). He then went off to Hoffenheim and was brilliant for them ripping up the league from midfield. The plan worked perfectly and he has improved a lot and is ready for more first team football at Dortmund. He ended up averaging 7.31 across his 21 games last season.

ed7c495d444f683f6b1825498b9c280f.png

Thomas Grosse - He continues to defy the model, where is two attributes faults short of perfect, but his performances just defy everything and he just has to play most games every season. He started 35 games and averaged 7.90. He will no doubt be battling for the Balon D'Or which he lost to team-mate Justin Kluivert.

484924e3391c095bde30c447e0bc7301.png

Justin Kluivert - He is quite simply at the moment the best footballer in the world. He has ripped the Bundesliga apart and done the same in Europe. He won the Balon D'Or and would be surprised if he didn't win it again to be honest. His stats are insane, 41 games started, 22 goals scored, 30 assists, averaging 7.91 this season.

b6e15d53538eab07d4d063f50abc8378.png

Hirving Lozano - Despite his advancing age and some decline in his stats, he is still a brilliant footballer for us and would be for any club. I dearly want to keep him going as long as possible, but I know soon it will be time to say farewell to him. This season he was brilliant again playing 31 starts, with an average rating of 7.72.

762eb74e3f3725a4c1812075be49e975.png

Johannes Eggestein - He has been the man off the bench this season as we moved the squad forward and he was no longer first choice and more of a versatile sub option. He has played very well for a players obstensibly coming off the bench averaging 6.93 this season.

f6b18676a73a20288db5f40c13dd0c63.png

Davide Merola - I could not really ask for me from him, he started 24 games and scored 22 goals this season in rotation with Iago Frejeiro in that right striker spot. He has been very good averaging 7.26. He was also the top goalscorer in the Champions League so his goals were often important to us.

Iago Frejeiro - He has a great season last season, but this season he became pretty much the main man, as he became top goalscorer at the club this season with 32 goals in 30 starts and averaging 7.57, capping off a superb season from Spaniard.

Joao Junior - The young signing from Benfica hit the ground running with a brilliant scoring record of 29 in 28 starts and averaging 7.68. He has been fantastic and his partnership with either Merola and Frejeiro has been at time unstoppable.

Sebastian Caseres - At any other club we would be delighted, but he to be honest was a little disappointing, and started really slowly, as time went in the season he started really procuding the goods that we expected and actually ended up with decent figures of 11 goals in 23 starts and a rating of 7.09.

Victor Horster - Victor has yet to play a game for the first team, in fact he has not left the U18's but he will be for the coming season. He has improved by a crazy amount this season and can already be classed to model perfect for the left striker spot. He absolutely ripped the U18 league and U18 European competitions to shreds last season averaging 8.49 and scoring 81 goals in 44 starts. Clearly this shows that if we can really get some good training into the youngsters we can avoid the largely wasteful loan market. I look forward to seeing what he can produce. Also that value of £4.2m is going to absolutely skyrocket by the end of next season if he starts to produce in the Bundesliga.

Our training facilities were downgraded and so we asked the board to bring them back up to scratch, barely a dent for a club like us now at £2.5m

Our finances are rock solid, and I don't intend to spend the warchest I have been given of £326m unless I really need to and even then I would want to spend it very wisely where the value will appreciate.
